Step into the lobby and your eyes will continue to widen, as you marvel at the newly refurbished colorful and evocative reception area, modern bar and the restaurant with cool grey ultra-modern furniture. It sure makes an immediate impression. What use to be Protea Hotel has been transformed into a space that is hardly recognizable. The rooms, swimming pool bar and the gym have also been revamped tastefully to give customers a fresh and enjoyable hotel experience in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!!!!

Very warm and comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and the decor is warm and just right. The service is good, though at times not so flexible. I am more of a breakfast in bed on a sunday type, was a shame I could not get this as I was told they did not have enough staff on duty. I will be back as I feel the price is perfect and I like that it is not pretentious as many Lagos hotels.

The hotel staff was unresponsive. As a paying customer, I had to come down to the restaurant to collect my order. A simple request for an extra plate/glass to have my food was turned down stating that they do not have enough plates/glasses. A super disappointment with respect to the experience after paying so much money. I stayed from 24th Nov to 30th Nov 2019. I will not be coming to this hotel again nor will I be recommending this to anyone.

A neat pocket friendly hotel in VI Lagos. Formerly Protea Hotel. Wonderful helpful staff. Great bars, cozy rooms, inviting bars and a delightful restaurant. Car hire services are available. Vehicle parking space is very limited and rather congested for the size of hotel. Room rates are highly competitive. Most rooms have great outdoor views that enable innovative thinking. Some of the furniture in some of the rooms need to be modernized.
