Imax cinemas Lekki is a place for total entertainment. Primarily, visitors can watch Hollywood or Nollywood movies. There are different theatres with different prize tags. There is the premium where you have comfortably reclining chairs, champagne, sharwarma and sometimes redwine; these get served depending on the price of the movie. The other theatre different from the premium is the regular one but with a larger screen. The chairs are also comfortable and the theatre room is not bad at all. Customer service at Imax generally is topnotch as their attendants are well trained and well behaved to be honest. There are days when a movie may premier. Such days affords visitors the opportunity to take pictures with other celebrities in a beautiful environment.

A real immersive experience in their 3D screen. Probably the biggest screen I have seen so far. Nice audio and rich video quality. Comfortable seats, especially the VIP area at the back. Has lounge area where you can sit while waiting for your movie time. There are also ample parking spaces. Side note: Their popcorn will take you hours to finish. Haha.

It’s a great cinema with a superb 3D wide screen. The movie collections are also great. It’s my favourite cinema in Lagos. They open till midnight here, so you can come watch the late night movies. However, I don’t like , that you are forced to watch some movies.I got to the imax cinema with my kids once, during what should be their busy time, and was told we could only see one movie and it had to be in the vip room of which, the vip room cost more. I couldn’t help but think what if a guy took a girl on a date and intended to stay on a budget.

It was a beautiful date, even though the weather was not so cool (it was raining terribly) but immediately we got there, the experience was nice, from having a variety of drinks ( going to post their pictures here) at the lounge upstairs to watching a very nice movie (The Joker) which we settled for because Malificient 2 has already started, the place was well lit, accommodating, good service staff, proper ventilation and very good convenience. The film house experience is one which I won’t forget in a hurry.

I enjoyed watching a movie in the comfort of a reclining leather seat, got waiter service during the movie, along with unlimited popcorn and a complimentary glass of Martini. How cool is that? The ticket prices for movies are slightly higher than your regular cinema but that’s fine. Their concession stand is ok but not great, a bit overpriced on some items but ridiculously so. The seats are lovely and comfy. Overall I would recommend it over and over.

This is the only IMAX Cinema in Nigeria. There are both 2D & 3D IMAX screen rooms available. The building is very contemporary unlike the other cinemas in Lagos, also the area is also reserved and cosy. The staff are very helpful, large enough parking spaces, the have the largest pop corn in a cinema and it is very delicious. Beyond the movies, I love how they have packaged the movie watching experience. You can watch a movie dining in or you can have a luxury experience. Different packages come with different experiences and they are all splendid. The only downside is that the movies tickets are more expensive than other cinemas around, however the prices are worth it because of the experience. Also you can buy the 3D glasses for a token and you can keep it for subsequent times whenever you come back. They also have special discount day on Wednesdays when movies will be shown for only ₦1,000. I will be going here frequently with friends to have a nice getaway time.
