The ambience was top notch but that’s story for another day. The meat in the platter were one of the best I’ve ever had. Sauce present in the meat could be tasted on the surface and in the tenderness. Had a good performer that plays the piano on special events. Complete 5 stars.

Sabor has great cocktails!!! Decent ambience, been here a number of times before and the food is always good. Had fried calamari for starters and I was quite confused about the sauce. Had a chicken burger that I forgot to take a picture of.

I went there for a birthday party & remembered them imploring us to lower our voices at various intervals whenever our voices went up, which was quite commendable. As good as you can have in the US/Europe if not better. My only request is to make the outside sliding doors a bit easier to pull. Grease it or something.

Great Space, good food and well trained waiters Date night was memorable thanks to Sabor. The food was very nice and portion was just right. I had the chicken lollipop as a starter- tasty, surf and turf flat bread as my main it was “divine”. Lastly, dessert was the almond nut brownie with vanilla ice cream - sinful. Loved the outdoor space-it was well put together. Alvin was our waiter and he was very polite and professional. Loved everything about sabor and would recommend this place to everyone.

Sabor is a such a lovely restaurant. The ambience, food, service is top notch. The food portions are quite large to be honest when compared to other restaurants. I’m going to keep going there till I try everything on the menu. There’s also an outdoor seating that’s really lovely and “instagrammable”.

I was looking forward to my dining experience at the sabor Lagos. It was easy to make a reservation and we felt right at home thanks to Amy whom I presumed was the manager. The ambience is has a rustic feel. The staff were courteous. The starters took too long and I was underwhelmed with my order. My paella was dry and salty. The pasta was quite good. They get 3stars because Security presence was lacking and I feel this is essential. I hope the food and prep time is improved upon.

Good ambience. Nice decor. The outdoor seating with the nature setting looks nice. The food was good. The starters were well made and that order out quickly. I could rate the generously portioned meals if it took shorter time to prepare. We expected the waiter to at the least spoken sincerely about the wait time. Other than that it was fun.

Sabor is a nice restaurant at the heart of Victoria Island. It’s a nice place to hang with friends. It’s also good for large-ish groups. Their prices are not bad but when we got the bill, we were a bit confused about the consumption tax and service fee charges). This is in addition to VAT as well. Each of these were 5% of the actual price that appeared on the menu. So, if you are on a strict budget, you may want to add 15% to the price you see on the menu so you don’t get surprised when it’s time to pay. Whew.

Very understated and spectacular menu! Don’t forget the paella! Nice wine selection. There is an outdoor section with a fire pit on the table. Don’t worry it’s not a real flame so it’s not hot. Service is excellent and super friendly always with a smile. It’s on a one way street so make sure you come the right way down the street. Police are waiting for one way criminals

Great Space, Love the decor and the ambience.. The service was really good, Amy the manager was very amiable and attentive.. Not a lot of options on the menu, meals are also quite pricey. The Penne Pasta is a must try(best thing on the menu IMO. The Seafood paella tasted more like normal naija jollof.... Absolutely love the outdoor area, will be nice place to chill at nice....

I was there for the 1960 special and it was a lovely experience. The Zik and Aboki Special were nice though I felt the suya was too spicy. The Jollof rice and prawns was great and the dessert amazing. Good experience. I will definitely visit again.

Such an easy cozy place to have drinks and food with friends, if you are seeking to have a relaxed night out with some friends, I will recommend Sabor Lagos, the food is good, I think their cocktails is one of the best I’ve had in lagos. I specially love the seat out area outside, very relaxing. Parking can be tricky but okay depending on what time and day of the week you go there.

We missed our way as there was no sign indicating where it was. This seems to be normal as a securiry guard who noticed walk up and ask if we were looking for Sabor. It shares the same building with a takeout joint called chop nownow.Finally got in and i was glad we had our dinner here. Loved the starters which were chicken wings, crab balls and calamari. Everyone loved their meals and the cocktails and mocktails were great. Had the virgin temple and it was delish.

I had a lovely time at sabor. It was my birthday and was a last minute dinner with my friend. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. And the food was just wonderful. I literally dance through my meal( had the surf and turf flat bread for starters and paella for main)Also the portions are very adequate, I could barely move when I was done eating and I didn’t even have dessert.

Where do I start? The chicken lollipos where dry! It seemed like the chef had forgotten them in the oil while he was doing other things. The salad served was not IT. I had the tagliatelle which I thought was very overcooked and quite mushy(is this stuff made in house?). The sauce that clung to it was a mass of milk and flour with some other bits in it whose only reedeming factor was the msg that had been liberally added. It was revolting to say the least. My date had the butter chicken which she managed to swallow with copious amounts of wine.. yet again due to how dry it was. How can anyone pass this off as restaurant quality food? And then we were presented with the bill. I will not be returning to this place.

The food here is absolutely delicious no denying that, BUT the amount of money these people charge for taxes is absolutely ridiculous and exorbitant. One of their taxes is labeled as a consumption tax… Consumption tax?! So, they’re saying after paying for your food we are then going to charge you for eating it. Absolutely ridiculous and unecessary. Their claim is that they have to pay that tax to the government… I have a hard time believing that.

I always say you can tell alot about a place by the toilets. Hooooooooñnnnneyyy let me tell you about sabors beautiful toilet area. I went in and stayed longer than needed in there. I was in awe of how good it looked. They really have set the bar for how public toilets should look. On to the venue. In doors gives more like a brunch/cafe spot vibe instead of a fine dining venue. Different chairs and tables would be good. The outdoor area is really cool and relaxed. The food is aaaaaaaamazing. Serious compliments to the chef. The bartender really was chosen properly. The drinks are on point. Over all a good place to eat and drink amazing stuff at fine dining rates.
