Nice architecture. At first when I saw this building, I was marveled at how such beautiful architecture could still exist. It looks old but very beautiful. This galleria is a big one. It has about 5 halls in it. There are stores within this cinema. I actually heard this is the first of its kind in Lagos. The cinema is situated at the last floor. There is also a bar and restaurant on the last floor and an indomie cafe. The same restaurant is also on the ground floor. The first and second floor have shops spanning from cosmetics store to hair bundles and wig store. There is nine mobile experience center and MTN customer care office on the ground floor. Iroko is here as well as a travel agency. Outside, still within the compound there is a silver cafe and a flower shop. During festive periods and holidays, they set up games and train for kids. I enjoy eating noodles from the indome cafe especially the noddle dipped in coconut sauce with shredded chicken. The chicken is dipped in garlic and ginger and I love it. Garlic and ginger may be too much on any other thing but that shredded chicken is something I was crave for. I also enjoy the indomie pancake but the last one I bought I did not enjoy it at all. The lady who made it get E8 for that one. I really enjoyed the ones I have had in the past. I think they make it using cheese, that is why it forms like a pan cake. They cut it in a pizza manner. They actually have different methods of making noodles even indomie shawarma. I really love the indomie cafe

Silverbird cinemas!!!!!! Been around for about 15years. I havnt gone in the last 5 years, went there yesterday and was surprised to see that not much had changed.. This is a good thing, somehow they have maintained everything. The elevator and escalator works. The cinema is open for movies. Lots of businesses are open. So If you want to see a movie, want to actually shop, or just window shop in general.. Silver bird cinemas galleria has got you . The former crowd I expected to see wasn’t there. Still a great place to hang,.

The first time I went to silverbird cinema was when blackpanther was trending. The building is magnificent with good parking space. The building is secured with gallant security personnel. I enjoy coming here, this is actually my cinema of choice. It is comfortable and appropriately cold. The only issue I have is the elevator that always has one problem or another, if they can fix that, that would really help. Also it needs proper maintenance, it looks old. The indomie cafe is Amazing and it is really one of the reasons I come here...eating spicey noodles and watching a movie#cruise.

I actually went to see Hobbs and shaw; Fast and furious about two weeks ago and the theatre screen kept going off and on more than three times. It took roughly 10 minutes for them to get it back up each time and rewind the movie for us. Until we all got frustrated and just left after paying for a 4DX experience. Shame!. No directions in the building, bad customer service.

Silverbird Galleria used to be one of the few places to go in Gidi back in the days. However, the galleria has lost some of its old touches, the toilet is not as cleaned as you’ll have expected of a center like this and the management doesn’t seem to care about this. Dye to huge debts incurred by the Silverbird Group, the cinemas were taken over by AMCON, and since then, movies shown have been of poor quality and sometimes the air-conditioning is turned off.

It also has a large compound for parking vehicles which you pay for, good security within the compound. Unfortunately, presently all the eateries within the hall have shut down. But there exists a lovely, well designed, well air conditioned and well furnished restaurant outside the hall, within the compound.

They have renovated the cinema floor, its really more visually appealing, lots of nice new design touches. Some of the old stores are still there from back in the days. Rhythm radio station is there, you can see the OAPs as they work through a glass window. If you are in the neighborhood stop by, they really dolled up the place.

Silverbird Cinema is the first modern cinema in Lagos owned by the Bruce family. I love the location because it is easily accessible. Though they now have many competitors but, they still have the capacity to compete evenly with the new cinemas. The cinema also have shop outlets rented to other business owners like restaurants, boutique, photo studio e.t.c. Recently, I have noticed some of the shops are vacant (maybe this is due to high rent, high service charge and low patronage).

Silverbird, known for its engagement in the entertainment industry, is the premier company to introduce cinematic business in Nigeria. With a growing populace, Silverbird has fully established itself a leader. The galleria is usually clean despite heavy traffic and mostly crowded by evening, especially when there is a premiere. A major door serves as both entry and exit; also there are armed security personnel and bouncers there. The ground and first 2 floors are predominantly shops while the 3rd floor has the food court, ticket sales counter and 5 movie theatres. Parking is available at the adjacent plot if the spaces around the galleria are full but it cines at a price. The renovation work on the galleria is quite appealing. The galleria comes recommended for entertainment lovers and even sightseeing.

Price for movie varies pay day with some days priced as a combo of ticket, pop corn and drink. The staff is also friendly.

Silverbird has failed to sustain the high standards with which they started almost 15 years ago. Most shops are poorly patronized and many businesses have shut down. The building has a general run-down feel and limited parking space is a major constraint for patrons. The concession stand is good (although I’m not a fan of the Pepsi/7Up range of drinks that they offer) and the ambience on the cinema floor has recently been done up. Set in a prime location, they need to do a lot more to win back their customers who seem to prefer other locations with better facilities. Watching movies in an empty hall is no fun

I went there at night to see a movie. The chairs in the theatre were torn and weak some where even broken and couldn’t be used. The management needs to replace or repair and cover up the chairs. The air conditioning was alright but the theatre was quite bright during the movie as compared to filmHouse, I-max and Genesis. The staircase had this smell of dampness. It’s a good place to achieve a lot at a time since it has so many facilities in the building. The architectural concept is nice. Overall the galleria needs a thorough renovation. it’s not very impressing.

I had watched an Indian movie. Place is neat n clean. Sitting arrangement is bad. Once you buy ticket, you have to stand in queue to choose your seat unless you can’t get a good seat. At least they have to provide seat as per the ticket nos. I felt very bad, I paid the same amount of ticket but I had watched the movie in the 1st row. This is really hectic. Screen is not so big but overall it’s good

Silverbird Galleria was established in 2004 by Silverbird Group, founded by Ben Murray-Bruce in the 1980s. The movie theatre, Silverbird Cinemas revolutionized cinema in Nigeria pioneered the first five-screens Cineplex in sub-Saharan Africa. The Silverbird Galleria has a shirts retailer, café and mobile network offices all located on the ground floor. Electronic gadgets retailers and the Rhythm 93.7 FM broadcasting studio (operated by Silverbird) are on the first floor. The second floor has arcades and food services. The Silverbird Cinema is on the third and topmost floor. Additional services include a lounge and beauty shop. Great startup/services in the past, but all that has gone down the drain now. This is why I rated it 3 star!

My friends and I went to Silverbird to watch a movie and it was the absolute worst cinema experience, I have ever had. The volume of the movie was low and it felt like I was watching the movie with my laptop. My friend made a notify the manager but nothing was done! Horrible customer service and services provided.

Gone are the good old days of Silver bird Cinemas.... You are now forced to buy their popcorn as tickets now come with popcorn so they have jacked up their prices to accommodate this. A cosmetic makeover was applied to the cinema but the same old uncomfortable seats are still there. My candid advice their other cinemas with better amenities.

Went for a movie last night. The owners of this place dont understand what is meant by maintenance and upgrading. The movie i watched was soo dull as though the projector bulb was half capacity. The chairs in which we sat were worn down and the sound was unimpressive. They have cleaned up the purchase area but the actual movie experience is terrible. I will not go back anytime soon!!! So sad, because it used be my favorite. I come all the way from ikeja to watch movies here.... On another note, the ikeja mall cinema is also falling into disrepair. Please get your act together. Competition de o!
