Built a few years ago. This spar outlet is big with a large parking area. It is situated on a very popular and busy road with good access to the express way. At this time, Christmas time, they have beautiful decorations and are currently running black Friday promos. SPAR stocks fresh produce, groceries, household items, perfumes and cosmetics and more. They also have a bakery selling scrumptious freshky baked bread and snacks and really good foods. Nice place to shop

I used to like them till yesterday. Went to get a loyalty card and the attendant sized me up first to gauge if I was worth any money. She then proceeded to ask what my least spend is, and then said I have to spend a minimum of 5000 for each visit to get the card because I said my minimum spend is 1000 or 2000. Funny thing is, I was asking for the card because I wanted to make a purchase of close to 30,000. That was the first humiliating experience. Walked over to the food section to get snacks and the attendant there was rude, it was as if I was wasting her time, all because there was a price slash. I think she wanted to take the snacks home instead of sell them. This was just yesterday. So many times the people there are rude, but I refuse to report them because I fear the Indian owners will let them go, but this has been my worst experience at spar so far. I would prefer to shop at shoprite Maryland instead. Despicable behaviour from the staff there. If you can, please go somewhere else.

SPAR is one of my favorite ships in South Africa and I was elated when it opened in Nigeria. SPAR Ilupeju is one of the largest outlets in Lagos situated on Town Planning Way. The outlet has reasonable parking but still insufficient sometimes. It does not have marked parking for wheelchairs however it has accessibility entrance. SPAR stores fresh farm produce, pastries and cooked meals, even Nigerian. Shelves full of groceries, kitchenware, electronics, clothesline, drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic, toiletries etc. Has at least 8 cash points to minimize waiting time. Where assistance is required, there is always help. As a power shopper, I will tell you that SPAR is more expensive than most big retail shops but you can count on best quality here. I have never had a bad encounter or poor service. SPAR is on point. Highly recommended.

It is a big supermarket with many different items available for sale in various sections including food stuff, frozen foods, groceries, bakery, soft drinks, wines, kitchen utensils, toiletries, clothes, electronic applicances, household items etc. The prices in the supermarket are good (some items are slightly cheaper here, while a few items are slightly more expensive). There are occasionally promotions that go on, which allow price slashes or give customers some free items as shopping incentives. The supermarket is quite spacious and has a good layout, making it easy to manoeuvre through the store. The food is quite good and the fresh bread is really nice. There is good parking space for cars, even though it could get quite tight during peak shopping periods/days of the week. The store attendants, product ambassadors (those who stand by various products they represent), cashiers etc are nice. It is generally a great place to shop.

The prices of stuffs are fair. The queue at cash point can be long during peak periods. However, food items are surplus, pastries, local dishes, intercontinental, raw food items. They regularly organise interesting promos. Always be sure of the price of what youre buying especially drinks and yoghurt because i had to return a product twice cause the proper price was not on it. Its a good place to shop.

Me and a friend went to visit the store for the first time. This much better than all the other Spar. A bigger variety than most other stores like Shoprite. Vegetables and fruit looked like good quality and good selection of wine. We will visit this store on a regular basis now.
