Well planned and laid out estate in the heart of the of lekki, strategically located between the lekki and ajah. There are basic communal amenities such as parks, football fields, shopping center etc. Gaining entrance into the estate is a bit cumbersome if you are not resident. The resident has to give you an entrance code or you stop by at the security post to secure admission. The streets and roads are pave stoned and street properly named.

This is a very large gated "elite" community. Just off the expressway and set in a serene part of Lagos. The area is bounded by the sea and boasts of very lush vegetation with facilities such as recreational parks, Kids playground, access to tennis courts and clubhouses which one could use to host parties instead of entertaining guests at home. The road network is not that bad when compared with the general condition of roads in Nigeria and the drainage systems are thankfully underground. The security is round the clock but access can be tedious. Visitors and contractors may get aggravated waiting in line to come to your home. There are banks, schools, 24 hours water treatment and fairly constant electrical supply inclusive of a shopping complex just outside the estate gate. Management of the estate is central and there is a tendency to overpay service charges for the “privilege” of living in a gated community. At the same time, one has to watch out for the hefty fees for basic amenities like electricity which is sold at a much higher premium for residents. During power outages residents are allowed to turn on their personal power generating plant which could pollute the otherwise serene environment with noise and smoke. On the plus side, the sense of security makes it an ideal place to raise children. The expanse land area is also a haven for joggers and nature lovers. Some homes have beautiful sea views but this was susceptible to sea bandits which has been curbed largely due to the recent establishment of marine security patrol. Overall it is a beautiful environment but the cost of living there might be a deterrent for some.

I live here, one of the oldest and affordable estates in the Lekki axis. Been living here for over 15 years and power and light had been great. However the gate entrance and several parts of the sprawling estate are prone to severe flooding (thigh-high levels) due to appalling construction which has been ignored even over the years and inspire of the wealth and clout of the estate residents/administrators. Transportation within, into and out of the estate is sometimes tricky as though a shuttle service exists it only operates between the hours of 6a.m. -9 p.m. and it is rare for car-owners to grant lifts.

What the estate has going for it is probably the secured access at the gate. You are expected to have a resident tag to be allowed. Visitors are to get to the welcome center for entry tag after the resident has called them. There is a school in the estate with good ratings. A mini football field and a picnic area covered with natural green. Pain of the estate is when there is heavy rainfall; the place gets flooded so bad water gets into cars. Overall, an average estate for top working class.
