I don’t even think this transport company deserves any star at all. I’ve been a repeat customer even though I’ve had bad experiences just because I’ve been reluctant to try new ones but yesterday from Accra to Lagos and Today from Lagos to Port Harcourt has sealed my deal and my verdict for ABC transport is WACK!
On the way from Accra to Lagos we asked them before leaving the terminal if they would turn on the air con because it was getting hot and we were assured that we would but as soon as we started the trip they told us that there was something wrong with the air conditioning. Fast forward to getting through boarder formalities at Seme, the conductor began loading on bags of rice to the bus that was already stuffed with luggages and it was so hot and choking I started hyperventilating and I nearly passed out! The staff didn’t even have the courtesy to come by and say sorry or see how I was doing. The most nonchalant selfish group of people I’ve ever seen.
Today on my way to Port Harcourt from Lagos I asked the conductor to load my bag onto the bus since they were doing it for other people because I had something fragile in it; it was my laptop as I don’t have a laptop bag to put it in and I already had my hands filled with three carryons and he assured me that he would. The bus started moving and I noticed my bag wasn’t inside the bus but they were other huge boxes and even goods loaded onto the bus, I figured the owners tipped him or something. That aside, the least he could’ve done was not put other luggages on mine but he allowed them to load heavy luggages on mine and even though I tried to voice my opinion before we left the terminal at Jibowu countless times they behaved so nonchalant and the result as you can see is the damage of my property. Not jut my computer but my box is ruined due to the mishandling by the loaders! And this is not even the first time it is happening. But for my laptop to be in my luggage and I ask nicely that it be treated with care, then assured that it would and arrive at Owerri which is not even my final destination, only to the boot only to find very heavy luggages on mines causing the damage you can see here is the height of bad management and nonchalance. And the people at the customer care are not even being helpful at all.
