Buses are available as earlier as 4:00 am for passengers going to work or earlier market the environment is safe. There are bikes around to take to any where wetin ikorodu. There are banks and GSM shops just by the roundabout. The environmental is fast becoming a commercial centre.

Ikotun is about 30minutes drive from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria. Ikotun roundabout is also a huge bread market.
