I like the new order in domestic airport with particular reference to the parking lot which charges N400 for the first hour. I advice you please do not park inappropriately or in unapproved location around the airport. I had a 6am flight and i was surprised to see loads of workers around, both offical and touts. Everybody is important or at least will want you to feel that way. Tipping here will definitely get you to places. There are wheelchair accessible entrance as well as parking lot. I have a problem with the local airport and will like authorities to look into it. It is naming all the various terminals for easy location. I had to keep asking before i finally got my departure terminal. There is a mini street food seller in here to help hungry cab men and all. The airport needs to be lighted up a little. Security at the airport is very good. The airport Carters for both Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike and runs flights from on 6am to 8pm.

This is the domestic Muritala Muhammed airport located in Ikeja also known as MM 2. At this airport flights are only available for places within the country unlike MM2 which is known as The International airports where flights are boarded across the world.

Top notch service at the car hire service department

The domestic wing (MM2), looks very organized and operationally effective. The FAAN officials are courteous and the security is relatively okay. I forgot my phone where I was seated and though I remembered it after I boarded; the Aero officials still traced and recovered it for me. That was a good sign that security is fine

This standard domestic airport is of the highest standard within the continent of Africa. The services are superb, the interior and the exterior are clean, staff members comport themselves to international standard of operations. Customer service is very up to date and you will love to be here.

The departure hall is not spacious, if by any chance there is delay in flights it will be too filled up. Air conditioner not working well.. sign of leaks on the ceiling.. But it has wheelchair accessibility both the rest room and the departure hall. There is food stalls and gift shops at the departure hall.

Muritala Muhammed airport, old local wing , usually called local, is the second busy terminal in Nigeria after mma2, muritala muhammed airport 2. The old domestic airport house arikair and airpeace, both are Nigeria fastest growing airline Domestic wings was renovated about 4 years ago which gave birth to remodelled departure and arrival hall. Area of improvement are the inadequate toilet and crowded car park. The car park is a bit expensive , about N400 Naira, a little above $1.. taxi service is very disorganised with irregular rate. The airport is seriously being challenged with inadequate space for traveller I believe the airport terminal can be managed better in time to come Baggage handling is by both airline operators and Sahco.

Not enough place to sit. No proper announcement. Needs lot of improvement. Travelled again after few months washrooms are more cleaner and maintained now.

This terminal of Murtala Muhammed Airport serves the local flights and airlines such as Air Peace and Arik Air. My experience was not bad except for the screening part where we had to remove our shoes for scanning, but it was for security reasons so it is not a big deal. The waiting area was not crowded and the announcements on the loudspeaker was clear.

This facility needs a great improvement to deliver world class services to travellers. You have a lot of travel airlines in this facility selling and as well providing a lot of services part from just issuing a ticket. The speaker phones in which flight announcements are been heard as well should be changed as I can barely hear just echoing sounds when announcements are been made making it difficult for hearing flight departure announcements. The entrance is easily accessible making it convenient for wheelchair users to access the facility without stress.

This is the domestic wing of this large airport. It has lots of shopping outlets like TM Lewin and others. It is however difficult to park here as you have a very short moment before the police start disturbing you may have to pay to park in the parking lot or just keep driving in and out till your asset arrives the pick up location.

Lagos Domestic flights airport is, like everything else in Nigeria, evolving. A clean facility, with a lot of movement. Its not a "cool waiting" place so try to be on time for boarding. Arik, Air Peace are the to principal airlines in the market offering domestic flights throughout Nigeria. They certainly need more organization for customer movement, and look for more efficient ways regarding their logistics. The airport services and facilities are ok.

The old domestic terminal is now home to Air Peace and Arik Air. It has been refurbished but not very well done. It has convenient stores and banks. Customers can easily get mobile SIM cards with mobile network kiosks and other essentials. It has a bureau de change and a bank as well. It has an ATM machine. The toilets are fairly well maintained. Getting a taxi out of the airport is a bit of work with so many taxi drivers shouting at you at the same time. Though they are there to help, it gets overwhelming. The entrance is wheel chair accessible. Private parking is a bit tedious here

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport (Domestic wing), is the major and only airport in Lagos. It serves Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo states. Located in the heart of Ikeja, MM2 as it is fondly called is the hub of any domestic carriers like Arik Airways, Air Peace, Dana, Sosoliso, Aero Contractors, Virgin and lots more. Highly recommended.
  • A

  • O

For what Lagos/Nigeria deserves, the airport is not what it ought to be. Long way to go with regards to design, facilities, maintenance, aesthetics, parking (I would expect a multi-level car park), etc...
  • S

This airport needs serious renovations and maintenance; can you imagine that there is no place for those waiting to pickup arrivals; the concierge there asked me to sit on a pavement outside or under a canopy in the car park. Air conditioners are not working, toilets are so unkempt. The service here is generally poor.

Smelling airport as if the toilets are installed at the checking In and waiting halls. Though with active and smart staff/security personnel the health hazard of poorly maintained toilets surpperses everything.

The announcer seem so inaudible with a froggy voice for a lady. They should change the person making the announcement because one has to strain ones ears to hear each announcement while waiting for a flight. Could be due to faulty microphone or public address system or maybe the announcer has poor diction and intonation problem
