    Been here a few times mainly for the more traditional dishes. Portion sizes are very generous at a good price. The menu features most of the traditional soups and meals with an interesting feature of estimated preparation time to help manage wait expectations. The meals I have had were quite tasty and satisfying. Parking is a bit of a challenge as the compound is limited but the security team are on ground to assist.

    Visited Yellow Chilli for the second time after almost 5yrs. We entered almost on the closing hour, the waitress was reluctant in attending to us. So we decided to make it easy by choosing the same meal for all three of us. Myself Ghanaian, our host Nigerian and a Belgian..... we all loved that special fried rice with shrimp and beef. Would have been a 5star but for the waitress initial attitude towards us.

    I had the famous seafood okro and it was great (i would have liked it a little spicier). I went with a group and the restaurant was kind enough to assemble tables together for us. Great choice for seafood okro in Lagos and the service was good too

    The Seafood Okro is the best thing about Yellow Chilli. It is amazing and very tasty. You get the real value for your money. However, if you must go on a Sunday, try not to go in the evening, as it is usually full and you will have to wait for a while before getting a table.

    Yellow chilli restaurant has maintained its ability to keep its customers coming. The ambiance is cool and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful in making choices from a long menu of interesting food. The drinks menu is just as interesting and lengthy. The presentation of the food is beautifully done and one cant wait to dig in. Parking is a bit of a challenge here due to the large crowd, the parking space is reasonable but always overwhelmed. The security men will guide and recommend a place to park. Yellow chilli comes highly recommended.

The speed of service was uncharacteristically slow, and this extended the waiting time beyond the promise given. The waiters/waitress need a slight nudge on customer service. overall it was an enjoyable evening and i would visit again. P.S was too hungry to take a picture of my white soup and pounded yam. :-)

It was a bit crowded there. Also had little issues with parking. The waiter was very polite. Overall I will definitely be going back soon.

    This is one of the best restaurants on the main land. I love everything about yellow chilli, the ambience, the food, the professionalism of the staff, the setting, everthing here is lovely. Great for eatouts with friends and family. There signature dishes are dope as well. You should definitely try Seafood Okra.

    I look forward to coming here anytime I pass through Lagos. I love the presentation of the Nigerian dishes (called "swallow") with the various accompaniments of vegetable soups. The food is very spicy here but they are very nice for the taste buds already prepared for such. When next you are there, ask for "Ugba", the local salad of oil bean seed, stockfish, onions, pepper and other spicy condiments. Great taste.

    Yellow chilli Restaurant and bar is a great to be. It is situate on Joel Ogunakie street, GRA, Ikeja. I have been to this place three times and I can tell you that the experience has been a great feeling . Their menu list is classy with local foods and continental. One of the best you can find around GRA Ikeja. But then the challenge I have with them is the car park! Not enough at all.

Also, if you are looking for a place that is warm, cozy and quaint to go with your lover or by yourself, this is also the right place to be. With an amazing menu of both local and international dishes and an array of drinks, you have a lot of options to choose from. The parking space is enough and the pricing is pocket friendly at least 5,000 naira is enough to have a good time (although this depends on your budget).

Parking around lunch time is generally an issue so either go early or use a driver/paid cab. They also offer delivery services to places within their close proximity. If you are there in the early evening and just want to sit outside, you have the option of sitting in the garden too. My preferred meal options there include the seafood okro, special fried rice and the seafood platter. Service times vary between 10 - 40mins depending on your order choice and timing.

The Oxtail was pure bone, though the sauce was delicious. The goat curry, which I assumed is supposed to be Caribbean curry goat was a complete joke. It was disgusting and the rice was too small. I really wonder why this place is popular. On the plus side, the restaurant is beautiful though it needs a thorough clean and more attentive staff.
