Worst customer service ever. They employ these girls who offer foreigners better service just to get tips. They gave my friend the worst service even thought she paid cash for 6 nights. One day, her room had no water and she called reception to inform them - they gave a dumb response. She went across to buy a bag of pure water to bathe and no one even spoke to her when she walked in with the water. The rooms are smaller that my office space. Best western has large rooms with better help. Its 5 minutes away.

I stayed here overnight on a business trip December 2014. We arrived very late, apparently just after the kitchen closed, but they specially made a delicious meal for us in addition to the left over buffet food available and also including desert! The staff were friendly as well, the wifi adequate as expected, the rooms basic but neat and with air conditioning. I had a pleasant stay at the Ibis.

Ibis hotels have the same ambiance. Breakfast is excellent. Dinner is an array of international and local dishes. Located in the Ikeja part of Lagos, it is secured with good security. Front desk staff are courteous and their service is four star.

The environment is calm, relatively close to the airport if you are travelling by air, provide scheduled airport shuttle ( but you need to ask). It has ATM within the reception (makes withdrawals easier). The elevator can help those on wheel to access their rooms. The entrance from the park is also "wheel friendly". The meals serve are fantastic but the hotel has classes of rooms you need to ask for their rates as they may not be "budget rates". The hotel has gym and swimming facilities but at the time of my visit there are no instructors or guards so "you are on your own" when/if you decide to use these facilities. One good thing is that the hotel provides instructions - you just pay attention and read them. The staff is hospitable and respond quickly to maintenance/concerns. They should provide feedback machanism for their continuous improvement.

I arrived in the evening after a long day and had to wait at the reception for an hour before I got a room! For our meeting, the projector we were given was not compatible with HDMI, the milk curdled when I added it to my coffee, and the food was sadly uninteresting. Indigenous soups (afang and edikanikong) in particular were not fresh. And it took forever to get responses to requests for basic things such as teacups and hot water. The room was also tiny so no space for yoga/stretches. They have a gym though. On the plus side, the location is good and the bed pretty comfortable. For those who like crowded hotels, it would be an okay place. I would rather a serene quiet place, which this is not. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and was disappointing considering the international Ibis brand. I would add an unhappy emoji here! Update: Following this review and other feedback to the hotel, we were tendered and apology...and free dinner. I appreciate the gesture, but would appreciate good service way better free food.

How this can be classified as a luxury hotel is beyond me. The service in the breakfast/dining restaurant was appalling. One example was the impossibility of signing restaurant bills to the room for settlement upon departure; I had to pay by credit card for every small purchase. While it was possible to get an espresso coffee at breakfast, it was impossible later in the day. I have no idea why. When I was transferred to a so-called Premium room the work space was much smaller than in the previous one. There was no welcome basket and no slippers as promised in the Premium room. However, in mitigation I would praise the friendliness and politeness of the staff. I suspect the poor service is a management problem. The shuttle to the airport worked well.

Lovely hotel located right on a major road. There is a poolside restaurant with outdoor seating. As well as a restaurant off the reception area. There is underground parking available with an elevator that takes you right up to the reception area. This hotel is really nice and also has good staff. Stayed at the hotel on 29/07/2018 as I had a flight at 6am on 30/07/2018. Pros: comfortable beds, clean room with kettle and free tea bags etc. Cons: poor kitchen service and late airport shuttle. I ordered food at 9pm but was still waiting at 10.10pm; cancelled the order and went to sleep pissed. Re shuttle, I told the front desk I had a flight at 6am and was advised the earliest time the shuttle would leave was 4.30am. I went down at 4.25am only to be told the shuttle had left for the airport at 4.20am. It did not return until 4.50am. Thankfully, despite the misinformation, I did not miss my flight.

Complimentary airport pick up and politeness of some staffs is the reason for the 1 star. Service in the restaurant was below par. Had to wait for about 30mins at the omelette station to try get an omelette. Even after complaining to the manager nothing changed. Ordered coffee at the restaurant the waiters forgot orders and looked dazed after I followed up for the coffee. Breakfast caters only to Nigerians and no option for foreigners staying at the property. Very limited options or almost no option for them to chose from. The day of check in even though I had checked in online and was supposed to just pick up the key to go to the room had to wait in line as the online check in counter was not manned by any staff despite a lot of staffs just roaming around the hotel. AC in the room was not working our first night. Even though the hotel knew that there was maintenance on going in the hotel at the time they still checked me into the room. Overall very disappointed with my entire stay at the hotel. Would I come back not anytime soon but may be if I read reviews in future which addresses the concerns I have raised here.

Great place for lodging but watch it- the farther from reception your room is, the less active the wi-fi network.
