Enjoyed my short stay in golden tulip hotel, their staff have very good customer service, I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived the hotel, they have a standard gym with modern equipments which is well managed. I enjoyed all their buffets, their food is quite sumptuous meals but I wish they have more variety of bread for their breakfast buffet and I wish they add more continental variety of food. Their rooms are beautiful clean and fresh with a beautiful view (although it depends on the wing of hotel you are staying). Security is top notch. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend the hotel to anyone

Located beside Festival mall in Festac, Golden Tulip hotel is an architectural piece. It has several rooms and a very beautiful waiting lounge with offices and business and 2 ATM machines on the ground floor. There is a gym, there are artists’ works for sale - drawings, sculptures and paintings. There are restaurants and lounges. At the back, there is the swimming pool which is quite exotic for relaxation. The hotel is also accessible to persons on wheelchair with a make-shift ramp at the entrance, and elevators within. It is close to Festival mall which houses Shoprite and other stores, making shopping not a big deal if lodged there.

I used their pool with my kids . The trick I found out is early visit. Be there around 9am so that you enjoy the pool with less distractions . From 11am is busy time in the pool. We also had to wait for like 15 minutes for the pool attendant to finish cleaning it. This can be started and finished earlier.

Road network getting in and out of the hotel is problematic. Once you are in the hotel precinct, the experience is extremely positive. In the secured precinct there is a shopping center and a hotel. The place is secure and physical guarding is visible. The hotel is a lovely establishment and its biggest asset is the service you receive from staff, friendly and always trying to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are spacious, clean but the furniture has aged and requires attention. Satellite TV available in rooms as well as a mini fridge. Water pressure is adequate . Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The WiFi signal is most effective around the hotel lobby. In our room the WiFi was extremely slow. Decent buffet breakfast is available in the hotel. Try the hotel dinner buffet to experience local tasty meals Well equipped Gym is available from 6h00 until 21h00. Decent size clean swimming pool available until 18h00. Pool bar facility is great and offer decent meals and live performances in the evening, particularly during the weekend. Tennis courts available in the hotel The hotel assist with the Forex at reasonable rates. Physical security in the hotel is visible. Good choice if you want to be if you want to be in mainland Lagos.

Having just spent 2 weeks in Nigeria. We stayed at the golden tulip initially and then returned for the end of our trip. The customer service in the hotel is great - the staff are very accommodating and attentive. The rooms are quite dated but otherwise clean and the pool and communal areas downstairs are well kept and nice. I would stay again.
