This is arguably the most Influential Anglican Diocese in Nigeria, Located in the serene environment of the Oba Akinjobi way, GRA, Ikeja Lagos State, it doubles as a Cathedral Church as well as the head quarters of the Lagos West Anglican Diocese. The Church enjoys high level security given its close proximity with the Lagos State Police Command Head Quarters and its other facilities. The church is accessible via the PWD Air Force base inlet to Ikeja GRA, or via the network of roads lining the Ikeja GRA. Under the current leadership of his Lordship, The Rt Rev. James Olushola Odedeji (PhD), the Church has continued to make giant strides on Soul winning and evangelism. The Church is a convenient place of worship and christian Events for Anglicans and christians around Lagos as people come from as far Lekki and Ajah to join sunday services. Parking space is one of the comforts that worshipers enjoy in AVMCC, as there is a large expanse of land owned by the church currently serving this need. The Church is always busy with one life changing program or the other, the facility also houses a large Youth Chapel ( 2nd floor, Vining Hall) that is a lovely and lively section dedicated to the Young generation of Anglicans. There are usually three services each sunday in the cathedral church, and usually two in the Youth Chapel. the First two Services hold simultaneously at 7 am, and 10 am in the cathedral church, and the youth church respectively. but a third sunday service holds, 6pm in the cathedral church, but not every Sunday. Bible study takes place tuesdays from 6pm to 7.30pm. Wednesdays 6 pm is Prayer Meetings, Then, Holy Communion service takes places every morning by 7 am in the cathedral. All Services here are conducted in English language, the facilities include several spacious halls that are open to even outsiders for events that could range from godly parties to weddings and business meetings. This church is estimated to have over seven thousand members. Lastly, the Cathedral church is a Wheel Chair Accessible place, unlike the youth chapel. Cheers.
