A great location for classy and intimate events. Located right on the Ozumba Mbadiwe road,it is easy to locate. Parking might be a bit tight for well attended events with an option to park right on the side of the road. The Civic Centre overlooks the lake, it is well maintained and a great venue.

The only thing I could possibly complain about is that, their rest room is way far from some of the halls, and the parking space is quite small. Civic centre is unique. Standing at the edge of the ocean with a bespoke interior. The halls are on point and their staff are hand on & supportive. I wish they have notices that says "do not run" on their walls as I witnessed an accident of someone who was running excitedly only to slip off the staircase, hitting his head in the process. Such a nice place.

The Civic Centre is on Ozumba Mbadiwe road in Victoria Island and it’s definitely one of the few buildings you can’t miss. Two buildings currently sit on the layout, One for more formal businesses and the other is an Event center with a few shops. The location is very popularly used for different Events and Exhibitions one of which is the ArtX exhibition. I always look forward to Christmas and how the event center comes to life with lights, decorations and enhancements... you should also watch out for how the Civic Tower captures and reflects the sky at different times during the day

I attended a traditional wedding event there last year. It is not too spacious but has a very good and easily accessible location. Parking for a large crowd could also be an issue because their parking lot is not so huge. It has adequate restrooms, and a few commercial areas. It however has a good water sight view and it has a serene environment. Also worthy of mention is good security coverage.

It is about a four story building that is artistically designed with an excellent architectural expertise. It is beautiful in every respect and it has good ocean views. There are different sizes of Hall and different cost depending on the need of budget of the client. The biggest hall in the Civic Centre can take up to 1000 people with conference arrangements of chairs. The hall Biggest hall is the Grand Banquet Hall and it cost about N3 million.

I have managed several events here for the organisation were I work and I must say the place is in great condition. Though because its an upscale place, the price is on the high side but good value for money. The facilities team are always willing to assist if theres any unexpected incident. The main hall is really large and can be organised to fit any size of crowd for any event. The entrance is also accessible for those that are physically challenged. The only concern I have is with the security team manning the entrance. They can be very rude and disorganised as often times theres always always a skirmish or two with guests trying to park their vehicles.

The Civic center is one of those event places in Lagos you will visit and want to explore the environment. Haven attended several events here I am always distracted with the beautifulness of its design that I must find one new spot for my photography. Aside the uniqueness of the overall structure, alot of things were considered in the architecture of this masterpiece such as the accessibility entrance, the walkways and above all the place is green and I consider that friendly. The security personnels are standby, the hall is big enough and can easily fit in into whatever event you maybe having. This place is everything awesome including its location.

Oh well, Civic center is a domineering event place on the Lagos Island. That they are sensitive to accessibility during events is a plus from. I was wowed to see mobile accessibility platforms two days ago when I attended the ArtX. Quite spacious halls, seaside view ensuring fresh air, working lift and balanced staircases garnishes their advantage over other event venues. If you are looking at attracting the creme de la creme type of crowd in your events, then think Civic center because they have got the lusciousness.

This facility is home to various A-List events. It has a very roomy parking space that accommodate large number of cars.
