If it is on your way, i would like to suggest you stop by but roads are very bad and please visit over there with your local friends. You can get items cheaper if you bargain. The prices are good because they are handmade.

Great place to find quality African inspired home and fashion needs. Love the crafts section a lot. You literally cannot leave without buying something. The sellers may deliberately make the items expensive because they think everyone visiting are people that just got back into the country so negotiate sensible.

If you visit Lekki you MUST come to this market. Some very nice/unique artwork. I particularly like the tall colonial wooden ornaments and traditional masks. Prices are really good! But do not agree to the first price! This is 9ja o you must haggle!

A very good place to shop for arts and crafts, you can still see original works of arts from all over Africa not just Chinese but China market in fake and duplicated materials still dominate hence the need for a knowledgeable guide and oh yes! You can find some interesting antiques and stuffs! I once saw a gramophone in good, working condition for sale here! This place is definitely worth a visit!

The Bar Beach at Elegushi on Victoria Island, Lagos, has been transfrmed into a thriving market on Sundays with hundreds of traders setting up their shanty and informal stalls selling a wide variety of fashion clothing and other goods. You can also find fresh fish and souvenirs being sold here too, in this Lagos Bar Beach Market. Shopping here needs to be done with caution as there is no security here.

There are a variety of traditional art and products made from fabric, wood and metal. Ranging from carvings, clothes, bags, jewellery, to metal sculpture and paintings. The atmosphere was calm, organised and non-invasive. Prices were good as I was able to bargain. In all, a good experience. I will visit again

The road to this market is really bad. Deep potholes, gullies and open stinking sewers along the road. Bar Beach market itself is great. Amazing art works, paintings jewellery, lovely fabrics. Also available is fruits and vegetables of all kinds. A great market to shop but the access road is really, really bad. Go prepared with rain boots in case your car gets stuck in a ditch.

Great place to shop for grocery if you want the same items in supermarkets but at great prices. Its also easy to park at the shopping complex and also to buy some local food items close by. The parking space is quite big to accommodate cars. Very convenient for shopping but be prepared to pay N100 for parking fee. My only issue is the way the car parks are marked, cars can park behind you and there won’t be any space to drive out. The gate minders who collect money don’t care how cars are parked. That’s why am giving it a 3. If you don’t mind the hitches mentioned. it’s a good and decent place to shop.
