Pelican international Hotel is a great place to be for a memorable hospitality experience. I was yesterday and I must say I had a nice time as an invited speaker in a family and youth event. Pelican is located in Chevy view estate beside Chevron drive, Lekki, Lagos state. It is a hotel situate on an expanse land with two major buildings serving as rooms, conference halls, aerobics, games, sportings, and clubs. Their security are perfect fit for the job. One major lapse I noticed is their lopsidedness in the parking arrangement which I believe if the organisation should look into

Pelican Hotel was formerly Belisimo Hotel and the new management is trying to make it great. Better to come in through Chevy View Estate gate instead of Chevron. It is popular with Nollywood stars because it is often a shooting location. The service is excellent with an amazing and very responsive Manager. Good food, good rooms and hall service. However, the facilities are a bit old and some are not working. You could find a room with bad TV or bad AC. But trust that management will fix it if you call attention to it. The price is very affordable considering the location in Lekki, very close to Chevron Drive. I spent one week and enjoyed the services rendered. I, therefore, commend the management for this massive edifice.

The thing I love most about this place is the different sections of the hotel. The Bellisimo hall is great for a conference but they have a banquet hall for dining which is in a different building, they have another snack spot in a different building. The snack spot is cheaper than the banquet hall. You can get chicken and chips at 1000 whole at the banquet hall budget between 2500 - 6000 for a meal.

Both female receptionist were rude to me especially a Dolapo in the other building.They had a shower but no shower cap in the room,when I requested for one I was told they could get me a bucket and bowl to bath so I wouldn’t have to use the shower (Dolapo said this).The food is overpriced.A portion of spaghetti and small chicken N3500 and rice/chicken -N4000, Sandwich -N3500.The bathroom glass door was spoilt and almost fell on me while I was bathing (room Dip 13).The relaxing chairs beside the pool had bird poo on them, all over, in the morning(around 10am).When we ask someone to clean it, the person disappeared and never came back.We literally had to almost share one part of the sit.The chairman was actually very nice and the restuarant guy.Compared to the hotels have been to, I was really disappointed in Pelican Hotel.so it’s a one star for them from me.Thank you
