Dangote sugar refinery is the largest sugar refinery in Africa and the second largest in the world, DSR imports its raw sugar from Brazil and on arrival at the apapa port terminal, shed 20, after the vessel have bath the raw sugar will be moved to the first stage of the refining process, which will the raw sugar will be taken to the VHP, and the process will continue till the finished products will emerge which is the granulated refined sugar which we have the fortified sugar for for household use and the non fortified for industrial use. Dangote sugar refinery have its warehouse spread across Nigeria, like the onitsha warehouse, the Mano warehouse, the isolo warehouse, the Ibadan warehouse Maiduguri warehouse and many more. The refinery which is located in Apapa was opened in 1999 and start its operations in 2000
