Visited as a group. I love the concept of the restaurant. The starters were average I would say. Not the best customer service. The wait was forever and our waiter kept forgetting stuff and things we had asked for. Lovely drinks. Main dishes, the pasta was overcooked and overly salted, the seafood as well was overcooked making the prawns chewy. I have heard lovely reviews but my experience was below bar.

The house creates a unique atmosphere with a homey vibe. I had lunch with my sister and one of the owners was nice enough to show us around. I particularly like the White Room and Cigar room.I ordered the signature puff puff tower with salted caramel and it was so great! Each room is tastefully furnished and feels like a home away from home. Reservations are essential. The food was just ok(not spectacular) standard pricing. The service however outstanding.

The House is literally a house. It has different rooms in the house. There’s a large living room after you leave the reception area. It has a bookshelf with books for you to read or go through as you wait for your food. There are also duvets for you to use incase the room gets too cold for you. There’s a Netflix & Chill room upstairs for you to watch stuff with your friends, but it costs about 50k I think. The staff is great and they are courteous. Overall, it is value for money. Also, have Shazam on your phone, as they play nice songs you will want to listen to again after you leave.

I was at The house last night. My very first time.. I dint know what to expect. When you arrive, you walk straight into a garden type lounge. Then we made our way into the living room. The reason this isn’t a 5 star review is only because of the table for 2 sitting arrangements, their chairs are not the most comfortable, so if u do decide to relax, you will not be able to hear your partner. However, note that you can move these chairs around till you are comfortable. There were several groups, many playing games and just chilling. I ordered the cocktail faux with a buzz. It’s such a balanced blend.. sweet with an alcohol kick to it. I also ordered their seafood pasta with lots of sauce . It was an absolute delight, it also was a lot, I divided into 2, and both I and my partner had a fill. Then I proceeded to walk around, they have a few rooms upstairs. I stepped into an all white room called the white room, here the music is louder, there is shisha, and the feel is like a lounge. I couldn’t check out the other rooms as they had been booked and were in use. Pictures attached are not so clear, forgive me.. place is dimly lit at night . Oh and the aesthetics of the place is amazing. You really should visit .

The House is a concept spot in the heart of victoria island. It sets a bar, restaurant, library, gamespot, chill zone, in your typical house with the various rooms serving different purposes. I spent my afternoon in the “living room” where I dined on the sofa under a throw and eventually played a competitive board game with my friends. The house comes with a study, white room, a booth, cigar room. Food was good. Service was good. Access is on appointment. Cash and cards are accepted. I think The House needs a bedroom. Wink*

The service here was horrible. My friends and I kept being moved around and when we eventually settled down and made all our orders including our desserts, we didn’t get our food for another 2 hrs. By the time my one of my friends food came, we were already done with ours. I’ve never been more irritated by the sentence, “we are plating it”. They weren’t. Took another 1 hr after our food was supposedly being plated. They get 3 points cause their food was fire.

This place was a no no... We went as a part of three and one of us was given a bar stool to sit on!!!! This should have been our cue to leave. Eventually we were re assigned seats after a bit of drama. Then, the wait for the food. My friends were literally done with their meals before mine came out. All I kept hearing was "we are sorry, we are plating it" . Plus the seats and table are so uncomfortable for eating. Overall, my friends ofada bowl was great even though the plantain listed in the menu as an accompaniment was missing.

First, they won me over with excellent customer service then topped it up with good food at relatively fair prices. I haven’t really explored this place though. I have only been in the same room, can’t remember what they named it now. Some where upstairs.
