The mall is alright, nothing fancy compares to the ones in Lekki and Ikeja. There are a few shops where you can buy groceries, electronics and clothing as well as a food court where you can eat nigerian, continental and asian food and ice cream. I found the clothing shops pretty expensive, the price are quite similar to the one in Switzerland. I mainly go there for the shoprite to buy drinks and food.

In my view, the best run mall in the country today. Excellent facilities despite the mall being at least a decade old. Good mix of shops and stores, including both the Shoprite and Game Superstores (Game, in my view, is the most complete store in Nigeria - they even sell curtains and tiles! Can you believe that?!). The usual blend of a cinema, an ice cream parlour and telco customer shops complete the mix. You could dine alfresco at the Double4 restaurant, or just laze around, window shopping. Try it.

The fact that there are a lot of departmental stores housed in the Mall is interesting. Well aligned and labelled. One can easily figure out what a particular shop is selling. Their security is cautious and the environment is spacious for the crowd that troops in and out daily. Ground is well paved and have wheelchair accessibility parking and accessibility toilet.

After all the good reviews I decided to visit Palms Shopping Mall to spend my Sunday afternoon. Only the 4th taxi I flagged down at Federal Palace Hotel knew where palms was. At Palms I discovered that it consist only of one straight alley of about 100m long with some nice shops. Cinema on 2nd level. Really nothing to see.

My go-to shops are Shoprite, Game, HealthPlus, Med Plus, Party Perfect, M.A.C store, iStore, Coldstone, Genesis Deluxe Cinemas. And Miniso. I go to the Food Court only when I don’t have a choice. I think that’s pretty much it. It gets rowdy during holidays but that’s normal.

One of the biggest malls in Lagos and arguably the most popular. A tourist destination for any visitor in Lagos and houses all sorts of stores that cater for all kinds of needs one may have. From Household, to makeup, perfumery, super markets, food courts etc. The mall is Clean and organized with security checkpoints before entry. It is ideal for a family shopping, movies or just hanging out. Even if alone, u can enjoy browsing and window shopping the high end stores. Make sure u wear proper walking shoes as you may be on your feet A lot. I enjoyed shopping at Max and then at the Puma Store which was a bit pricy, makeup from Inglot and generally from Shoprite , one of the biggest supermarket chains in Nigeria at the moment. Parking is not free so make a budget for that if driving.

Sometimes the entire family more especially on Saturday and Sundays. Apart from the attractive scenery at the entrance, the entire structure is a beauty to behold. Elegantly achitectured to catch the attention of those who appreciate a beautiful edifice. One of the highlights of the mall is the presence of shoprite. As expected, shoprite attracts crowds. With the advent of Novera Mall Sango-Tedo and other shopping mall in Nigeria, this is no longer the biggest shopping mall in Nigeria. You can find almost everything you want here. Ranging from food, body and beauty makeup, cinema, household, sports and gym wears, fashion wears, etc. It is an all inclusive shopping area. They started monetising the car parking area, so you have to fork out just N200 for parking here. I do not think this is good for the retail industry though.
