Excellently surprising! I actually underrated this hotel but turns out to be beautiful inside and out. Very friendly and courteous staff especially the front desk. Was happy I got a complimentary bucket of ice during check-in. The room is very spacious, neat with an office desk and chair for your work need. I love hotels with irons and ironing boards in their rooms and LContinental lived up to the expectations. The bathroom has independent bathtub and bathroom section with lovely bathroom essentials. The floors are quite high compared to average Lagos hotel.

Smells horrible . You can smell order all the way from lobby to rooms. Strong musty smell. Food is terrible . Bed bugs. The Nigerian government owns this hotel now , not the same intercontinental brand we know in America or other countries. We complained and they did nothing about it . Horrible smelly hotel. Second time I attended a high level conference here. The staff were respectful and nice. The conference room was great. Sounds and lighting were flawless. My major highlight was the food, it was superb! The varieties in the dessert table were splendid. Great cooks! It rained the day I went there and saw that there was water accumulated in the road in front of the hotel, which damaged the road. Apart from this, it is a nice place.

Spent Christmas holiday in Lagos with my best friend and it was the most amazing experience ever . We stayed at Lagos continental hotel . The hotel is located in Vi and quite easy to move around to other places from . Enjoyed swimming at the pool & got so tanned ! For those looking to get tanned I recommend spending sometime at the pool when you visit . DETTY December was filled with so much fun nights so most mornings we had to set an alarm to get up in time for the lovely breakfast being served downstairs by the lobby . That was one of the best things honestly . Although the staff sometimes acted misinformed about certain things like when my friend forgot her T-shirt in the room when we had to change rooms and called the front desk for assistance and they said the room had been cleaned and no shirt found . Turns out the room wasn’t cleaned yet and the shirt was still on the bed . Overall I had a fantastic experience, room service was great especially some guy that always checked to make sure we were okay whenever he came to clean .ill definitely come back when I return for a long stay xx.

First, the drive in... A carefully selected and well dressed set of security personnel who welcomed me with broad smiles. Next, the walk through... From the basement car park through the elevator to the ekaabo restaurant which is strategically set up. A walk to Soul bar and then to Zen garden. The entire experience for that afternoon was really enlightening architecturally and on the basis of being a connoisseur. A really great place to be.

Lagos Continental Hotel was a beautiful place for me. I went there on numerous occasions. One time was to do a photoshoot. The shoot was very seamless and the rooms were very relaxing and warm once you go inside. The reception staff were very welcoming and very polite. Right from the gate, I could feel the welcoming atmosphere. The lobby is beautiful and food is great too. Overall it was a great experience.

The Lagos Continental Hotel is Beautiful. The hotel is a wonderful place to be. With amazing and friendly staff, you feel right at home once you visit here. The rooms are quite expensive and the food is also pricey. They have hall spaces that can be used for weddings, lectures, symposiums and the likes. Although the parking here can be a bit clumsy it has a big parking space. My only issue with this place is when rain falls, the roads leading to the hotel become very flooded and almost difficult to drive through.

This hotel is more of a 2 star than a 5 star. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and on the first night had no bath towels. Made two request for towels and never received any so ended up using the one face towel for the both of us. The shower was moldy and the glass partitions look like they have not been clean for the last year. The linens are worn and frayed and smell. Lamps broken and the leather headboard was so dirty that I had to try my best not to touch it. Room service menu never had anything we asked and ended up settling for something else which we ended up throwing away. The rude hotel staff had the nerve to ask why we had our do not disturb sign on the door and that we should remove it. If there was another option for a decent hotel we would have left. I honestly would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The place is just a hangout for rich Nigerian kids and a disgusting excuse for a luxury hotel. DO BETTER NIGERIA!

It has high rise floors more than twenty with guest houses from the 7th floor. It encompasses an event centre and standard restaurant with serious waiters and attendants. Security to help with the elevators. Easy entry, parking for short specific visitors and easy exit.

It has a chilled serene atmosphere and an excellent interior. very conscious security wise. Delivers a security lecture to customer so they can know the points of exit at any case of any emergency. My experience was superb. I enjoyed my stay. And yes, there is a free WiFi for your browsing pleasure.

Superb hotel accommodation. Great ambiance with quality service. Over 20 floors giving you nice views of Victoria Island and the ocean/ Lagos lagoon from either side. The swimming pool on the 5th floor gives a skyview like no other at night. With about 3 different restaurants in here, your cuisine needs are well met from local, Continental to Oriental. An array of meeting rooms of varying sizes is available for your formal and personal events. The rooms are well laid out with enough leg walk areas. My stays here have always been pleasurable, I always enjoy the value for money !

Great place to stay, the rooms are nice and well maintained, and if you get a room with a view even better. The spa is great and the beauticians give great facials with Elemis products, which is a good brand. There are good places to eat, depending on what you feel like having. I would recommend Milanos Asun pizza (dont knock it till you try it). Breakfast buffet is amazing, eat till you drop lol

The room on the 15th floor was superb. Excellent view at Victoria Island. Rooms was cleaned at a very satisfactory level. Air conditioning can be set at will. The meals at the Ekaabo restaurant were quite delicious. Behaviour of the staff excellent. A negative point is a subtle odour in the corridors due to humidity.

I attended a UKEAS event, an education fair to be more specific. The hotel was really big. The staff were courteous. The lift worked and you could use the stair case. The event centre used is on the third floor and was big and well lighted. They should improve on accessibility to the bathroom and toilet. You have to ask to know where it is. The overall experience was great.

Well as it. My experience was not far fetch from our previous stay in this hotel. Though the room was clean and nice view. The room services is quite slow and non responsive at time, it either they answer you slow or not at all and the food is not all that, we had to get food from external restaurants, hence the three star. I believe we will get good value for our money if there are improvements on the staff customer relations and upgrade of some basic things like the curtains and bed rug etc and the FOOD is a no no. I will still recommend this place for you to stay but if you must find your food elsewhere. Ciao.

This was the venue of our wedding anniversary celebration. The building structure and amenities are top notch! However there is more work to be done on the staff especially in areas of professionalism, helpfulness and courtesy. The security personnel at the garage was rude and curt. This may be because of the crowd as we came during the festivities, the front desk staff were conversing in vernacular and not cheerful enough. The breakfast buffet was something else, the popular meals were not replenished timely and there was no coordination. The extra customer service and thoughtfulness needed for such a hotel to give customers a wow experience was sadly missing. But the rooms, emenities, swimming pool and ambience of the hotel was top notch.

Pros: • The Soho restaurant is nice and you can rent it, at a great deal for a party. • The convenient was clean and spacious too with hand creams to use after doing your business. Cons: • Not enough parking space, then again where in Lagos has sufficient parking??? • The AC was down and not cooling the Saturday I attended an event at the Soho though, it was hot. • The road to the hotel is a one-way, I repeat one-way. Do not try yourself as RRS police lurk around the corner waiting to bill you. I was a victim this faithful Saturday but I survived.

I enjoyed a great city view from my room on the 19th floor and i love love the sophisticated bathroom design. I also enjoyed using all the available amenities. Intercontinental Hotel is a five star hotel in the heart of Victoria Island. I visited the hotel during the soft opening and was impressed. Years later I cannot say the same. It boasts of an Italian restaurant, and Asian restaurant, Afro-continental restaurant, a lounge, ballroom, a cafe, swimming pool and a gym. It’s still a very popular choice for weddings and other events. It is an upscale place with amenities not commensurate with the pricing. The hotel is not well maintained and appears to be on a downward slope. This was clearly evident from the wilted plants (once with flowers) at the reception desk. The hotel robes are worn, the rugs are stained, the beds and furniture are stained as can be seen from my photos. The bathroom doors are not well cleaned. A hotel of this standard should offer impeccable service whether in (Nigeria or Switzerland) in my opinion. Even though it ranks as one of the nicer hotels in Nigeria, there is always room for improvement.
