Apapa fish market is located under the Liverpool bridge close to the waterside and opposite the Liverpool roundabout where there is a police checkpoint.

The Environment is not so clean, the air is full of dust due to the trucks and cars driving up or coming down the bridge, and again this is an under bridge which makes it a more dangerous environment. Apapa Fish Market has also not been Approved by the Lagos State Government.
