The place is really nice. Water runs in the bathroom though the place can be wet because of poor use by the students. There is three square meals by 7am in the morning . lunch by 2pm and dinner by 7pm. The food prepared is nice and is enough for one person. They even make jollof rice and chicken for corp members. Lots of skills can be acquired and you can literally get anything you need in Mami market. The short provided by NYSC is often problematic but you can always get more from mami market for as low as 400 naira. All in all the place is a cool place. The only challenge might be the 4:30am parade and compulsory light out by 10:30pm. Did I remember to state that dominos pizza and cold stone ice cream is here.

Owing to the fact that it is Lagos and a large percentage of the population (Corp members) would want to be here, the camp is usually very clustered and living conditions drop slightly below satisfactory level. However, I would commend the management for working with the large numbers and trying to maintain order and provide basic needs for everyone. Good social environment too

This post is for people looking to go for POP. I redeployed to Lagos so I don’t essentially know what the camp is like but we had to go here for POP anyways. If you are planning to go for POP, DO NOT DRIVE!! I wish someone told me. The traffic getting there was hell and almost everyone in the traffic were corpers heading in the same direction. There wasn’t parking so we had to park in a nearby Total and they charged us ₦1000 a pop. Those people make a killing. Kindly take a Gokada.

This in my opinion is one of the smallest orientation camp that I have seen. It however has the best accommodation for corpers. Its parade ground is well tared, the camp is also very secured and mobile ATMs are even available. Water supply is very constant and light conditions are very fair.
