It has a large hall which can afford space for some types of concerts. Also, the main bowl for matches is good enough; not standard, but will do. So for school inter-house sports and the likes. You can also play games on Saturdays but it’s important that you go really early as it gets crowded really quickly on Saturdays. All in all, pretty decent and safe I’d say.

Unilag sports centre is a complex of sports and relaxation. It has a standard football pitch including track for race, football, indoor sport hall, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, swimming pool and son. Food, drinks, snacks and sports materials can also be purchased. The stadium and indoor sport hall can be rented for different occasions such inter house sport and concerts to mention but a few. Closing hour is around 7pm.

This is actually the sports arena or section of University of Lagos Aka UNILAG. All sporting events including external are held here and on such days..lots of traffic are been seen on the driveway in and out of the school. I remember when the facilities were upgraded while i was in uni in the 90s. It was so good it was used as training ground for the under 20 FIFA world up that took place in Nigeria. This sporting facility when it was built was one of the best amongst all the facilities evident in all Federal Universities. It is big and it has various sporting activities within from indoor to outdoor games. The indoor games are handball, volleyball and other gymnastics. The wooden floor is one that you would enjoy to always play on while the outdoor games are football, basketball, hockey, cricket and so on. All these are available within the sport centre, and this gives the students a choice to pick a sport that interests them. Some of these facilities available within the sport centre are gradually deteriorating and this is due to lack of maintenance.
