Very untidy area. Lots of unorganised traffic. The presence of Area boys and street urchins makes it look dangerous and menacing. Traffic congestion is almost the order if the day. Traffic officers are overwhelmed by uncontrollable drivers with their reckless driving. Aroute to be avoided if you have an alternative. Then bad roads, potholes,Okada menace, etc

This was reviewed earlier as being misspelt as "Dopemu Aroundabout" and the review is herewith repeated: This roundabout is located near Dopemu market is usually busy of traffic because of the motor park located around the place. There are traffic police men at the roundabout controlling traffic. The bad roads leading to and out of the roundabout did not help matters. Traffic light will help the flow of traffic here if installed.

This place is where vehicles turn to connect new routes. It is accessed from different routes like Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, Dopemu, Agege. This roundabout is usually very busy in the evenings as people return from work. To ease this heavy evening traffic, vehicles coming from Akowonjo and Egbeda axis towards the roundabout are barred from 3pm. The road becomes one-way, allowing only vehicles going over the bridge towards Akowonjo/Egbeda. There are no traffic lights to direct traffic. Drivers are left to their own initiative in times of traffic gridlock.

The area is easy to locate using Google maps,but there seems to be traffic on the major roads there which starts at about 12 noon and gradually increases once it gets to four pm,the way to escape the traffic will be to go through some of the streets and doing this with your Google maps on it automatically reroutes and tells you alternative way out.
