S
Sanya OluwadareThis place is wholly dedicated to the memory of Afro Music Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Various musical concerts holds here on a regular basis and during which human and vehicular traffic are usual occurrence. It has no designated parking lot and cars therefore are parked along the road and nearby streets. It is NOT a kid-friendly place - owing to high level of alcohol consumption.

K
Kolawole M. OreoluwaThe Afrika Shrine was opened with the hope of creating a haven with disregard for class or status, where ordinary people could come together and be themselves. This has been the culture and people from all walks of life come to Afrika Shrine for fantastic performance of Fela Kuti sons. You can also come over on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to enjoy yourself

Nma OkaforAlthough it isn’t aesthetic, the music and ambiance gives you an authentic feel of Fela’s Afrobeat vibe. Some of his personal effects were on display, as well as his shrine. Pictures are allowed inside and Souvenirs are sold within premises. For a fair deal, you should bargain.

YenWhy go here when you’ve already heard the music? Because this place has so much energy! Performances are amazing, dancers are amazing! Not a place to miss and you must go at least once. Make sure to try indomie noodles from the stands inside on the side. Don’t think you’re vip and sit in the upper stands, walk right up to the front of the stage and dance! Helpful?

Patrick DauduBest place of fun. It may not be well appreciated by the regular guy out there but it is a place to be, no wonder the French President Emmanuel Macron visited here. The entertainment is mind blowing. Things i know about the new African shrine include 1. No harassment either from hoodlum or police 2. No stealing and i mean it 3. No fighting. Or at least i have never seen as much as a heated argument . 4. There are variety of drinks and food and snacks 5. There are games at least 2 snooker boards. Its a highly recommended place

Prince oluwashina ilesanmiSh Afrika shrine was created by the late legend, Anikulapo Fela. People go to this place on a daily basis to watch stage performance of musicians and Femi, the first son of late Fela and also smoke Indian hemps. This place usually receive a large turn out on weekends. Likewise days of the year usually set aside to celebrate the late Fela "Felabration".
-
A

Wami AmaoruWelcoming environment with a lot of nice things to eat from asun, high grade suya, steaks et al. But be careful when it gets really crowded especially Friday and Saturday nights, you could be pickpocketed but the management do their absolute best in terms of security as they have their own security “shrine police” details littered all over the premises. Ahmed YusufThinking about taking your nightlife escapades to the next level? Then think Fela Shrine a.k.a The New Afrika Shrine. From the genre of music to the inspirational story-telling lyrics, not forgetting the sacrosanct palm-wine, get ready to get a political education, a lesson in ‘shakin-it’ and a contact high! The New Afrika Shrine is an open-air entertainment centre located in Ikeja, Lagos State. It serves as the host location of the annual Felabration music festival. Currently managed by Femi Kuti and Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti, it is the replacement of the old Afrika Shrine created in 1970 by Fela Kuti until it was burnt down in 1977. The New Afrika Shrine showcases photo galleries of Fela and musical performances by Femi Kuti and Seun Kuti, thus making it a tourist attraction.
