5 stars for the decoration. 3 stars for the employee because he wasn’t sure about the menu. The chicken didn’t have a salt or spice but the waffles were amazing. The oroe milkshake was amazingly done and I recommend that. Please work hard on your chicken it is really bad and waste of money.

The is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to ever go in Lagos. Don’t be fooled by the pictures posted on Instagram..the VERY BEAUTIFUL ambience is ALL that Tearoom Lagos is about. Service was SUB PAR! Food arrived late when we were told the wait time was twenty minutes. The food was UNDERWHELMING and inconsistent from plate to plate. Drinks arrived over fifteen minutes after the food arrived. By then, I was done eating and asked that the drink be returned. The waiter tried to force the drink on me but I stood my ground and refused it. How do you serve food without drinks? What if someone chokes? They RUDELY order you not to take pictures on your way in. You only get a free pass to take pictures with the lovely ambience ONLY after you have eaten AND paid. Quite pretentious, if you ask me. If you stay there for more than one hour, they will VERY RUDELY ask you to leave. In this cashless economy era where nobody carries cash around as much, The Tearoom insists it accepts only cash. The reason is that “This POS machine does not work most times.” In 2019! It was an overall HORRIBLE experience. I regret going there and would never attempt this again. Total waste of time and money.

On the customer service, the waiter was just hostile the first minute I walked in, he asked me where I wanted to sit, and I pointed to it, then he told me I can’t sit there because it’s reserved and showed me where to sit. My friend arrived and we proceeded to take pictures because tbh that what we were there for. The waiter stopped us aggressively and told us it was restaurant policy to buy something before taking pics, fine I understand this but his approach and tone was off. We paid and proceeded to take pictures, while taking the pictures he kept on disturbing us to come take our drinks that they are getting cold, again in a tone that was off. When we were finally done taking pics we went upstairs to take our drinks, the waiter then moved us to the other side for drinks. To be honest the drinks were horrible, they don’t have varieties of food on their menu and tbh I’m glad I didn’t order food because based on the drinks my friend and I had the food would have been a mistake!. The only thing good about the tea room is the aesthetics, the fact that it is a good place for taking pictures.

The worst experience of eating out in Lagos! The waitress Blessing was soooo slow, she took 30 minutes to take our order. It then took another hour for the food to come out. When the food came out it was luke warm, so evident that the chief had prepared the food but front of house was slow. The portion size was tiny the food didn’t even taste great. The drinks took 45 minutes to come. Half menu if not more was unavailable. They were lucky I was hungry. I don’t know if the people that work there don’t finish school or what is going on. It was like we were speaking another language. When I posted on Instagram about my negative experience, 3 people messaged me with identical stories. The place is just flowers and hype. Save your money!!!!

The Food was really tasty and prompt. The "vaniTea" is a centre of attraction, literally an abomination if you go to the tea room Lagos without posing for a picture there. The florist outdid it. Good customer service too .

Extremely poor service - we had a party reservation but there was a mix-up on the part of the Restaurant - the staff took a long time to prepare a table for us, even though at the time they only had 2 patrons. They acted very reluctantly, like they were doing is a favour. The tea was served lukewarm, and we had to wait for teacups and ending up abandoning the idea. We had to go across to the bar to order our drinks directly as it was clear that our waiter was overwhelmed. The orders were also mixed up and took over an hour. Some items on the plates were also lukewarm. The food was okay, but most of us were too hungry at the point of being served to really notice or care. On the plus side, the place’s ambience is nice and our waiter had a very pleasant disposition and was clearly eager to please. While we were here patrons on at least 3 tables left very angry - declining to accept food that took too long. Was tempted to warn new guests to ‘turn back, save yourselves’! Would never come here again or recommend it to anyone. Just to add: after taking over an hour to serve us, they have now come over (20 mins after they brought food for the last of us) to inform us that we need to vacate the table. Terrible customer service and a horrible experience.

I’m only giving it a 3 star because of the decor and the flowers & the telephone photo booth. The food was crazyliy over priced and in small portions. It took forever for food to come out. The one thing that I hated the most was the fact that there was flies everywhere. My friend that had gone before told me about the flies issue but I thought oh maybe it was that day she went. The AC didn’t work and it was super hot in there. The place has potential if they fixed the little things & price.

Yet another one for the instagram generation. KUDOS to the owners for creating something so unique. The food is quite underwhelming and inconsistent.... nothing to write home about. Service isnt very good with orders arriving 30 mins late and at different times. The staff can be quite rude as well as patronising(I believe they are believing theyre own hype!) My date oohed and ahhed her way in and posed for the obligatory picture only to be accosted by staff who informed us rather arrogantly that this was only possible after her meal! Quite embarrassing to the customer as we wouldnt have come there if we were not coming to spend money. I have since heard many other complain about the same treatment. I most certainly will not be returning to this place... one would rather pay to take picshures than waste my money on their pretentious grub. NOTE TO OWNER: You need to return to your original business plan. Was the mission to be rude and haughty towards your own guests? Read the comments, the whole of Lagos! That isnt hospitality. You also need to get you a creative chef.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! Had to go and beg for a waiter, stood up to call the waiter numerous times, they didn’t keep my pre booked reservation, forgot to take my order until all my friends orders had come and they had started eating. called for a manager not once, not twice but three times it took 30 minutes, i had to stand on top of the waiters, only for the manager to come and not understand our issue! If I had more time I would share the rest. But come at an off peak time and don’t have any expectations on food or service! This is the first review I’ve left on a restaurant in my life on google o believe so as you can tell I’m appalled! A venue might look nice but the service if it continues to slide it will be no more very soon! I haven’t checked grammar or spelling so apologies ! (FIND A NEW MANAGER!)

Upon viewing their social insta page decided to give them a try once in lagos over Xmas And to be frank just thoroughly disappointed with the slow poor service Overpriced food and drink...also very small portions and awful customer service. Save your money and stick to shiro ocean basket or sailors lodge which are; higher calibre, well maintained and properly managed establishments. I had an issue with my card being debited twice yet management refused to talk to me. Just a waste of time and money should be renamed... to The Trash Room.... You have been warned!!!! Furthermore, the restaurant feels like a Runs girls in Lekki Link Up
