Kwara state NYSC orientation camp is one of the best in Nigeria. The state coordinator is caring and so compassionate towards the affairs of the corp member. I enjoy my stay there!

It was fun but the living conditions are deplorable
  • V
    Vivian Dike
It was a bitter sweet experience Mostly bitter. Early morning drills at 4am. Military personnel over riding corp members. Horrible food. Extra high cost of charging phones, lack of water, the mami marketers another set of criminals. The only fun was the friends I made.
  • A
    Adedapo Joseph
This place is in edu local government along the way to shaare and tsaragi, the camp is not in a good condition I must say and their is no power supply to the camp, water availability is another issue, but all the same you kind of enjoy the new culture you see

The Kwara State NYSC orientation camp. A bit underdeveloped. Beautiful environment. The government could do more but boosting the facilities in the place
  • D
    damilola yormie
With the new facilities around, alongside the commitment of the staff, this place is so much fun. Everybody on ground is trying their best to satisfy corps members on ground. Though the weather and the insects around may be a source of discomfort, it is a place to be.
  • T
    Thank-God Rapheal
It is very hot and rocky.
  • A

This reason camp is cool and quiet interesting. There are some developments. News camp clinic, newly well constructed mosque and church
  • A
    Alex Okereke
Old buildings... Poor water supply.. Sometimes none... Endless surge of mosquitoes and other associated pests... But its not all doom and gloom, what they lack in facilities they make up for with a wonderful vibrant camp officials.. Just make sure you stay clear of the local river, and beware of military personnel posted to the camp..
  • D
    Darasimi Ogunsola
Yikpata, as is commonly called by the Nupe folks, is the Golgotha of our time. A place of several Crosses as it were. Burdens get lifted here as men and women (Corps Members) survive together under trying conditions to emerge stronger. The NYSC Orientation Camp occupies a large expanse of land on essentially conglomerates and discountinuous units of granitic rocks.
  • B
    b shehu ali abadam

It depends on what you want. Something challenging, adventure, survival. Kwara State NYSC is a good match for this challenge
  • O
    Okoronkwo Ebenezer
NYSC orientation camp yikpata edu, kwara state is structurally okay but the whether condition here is so harsh on the body. It does not rain often here and as a matter of fact, the humidity here is low. The sunshine here penetrates the skin. No body will like to be under the sun here. To survive here, constant intake of water is advisable.
  • E
    Ekomobong Utuk
    Cool place, easy to locate
  • A
    Adekemi Favour

  • O
    Omisore Mayowa
Good officials but the weather is not that okay, and also some buildings are really not okay here. The government should build more buildings with standard auditorium hall for lectures in order for everyone to be able to participate well.

Has been and still under renovation. Registration process is smooth, environment is nice. There is now a generator for the camp [sockets not available, charge at mami]. Restrooms are way better. In summary, the Camp is a lot better than other past reviewers said with the renovation. Come and experience it.

If kwara state is your first experience of a hot weather state then it could really be unbelievably harsh for you. For those who have been further north of the country, they claim there is no sun in Kwara state, but the sun in Kwara state is damn hot for me. We lack good water here, dirty toilets/bathroom
  • I
    ihimnegbu serah
