I loved Katsina camp. The environment is neat. The toilet really surprised me! I had expected worse. During my time, we had more water than we could use and a generally clean and extremely cold atmosphere. The military personnel are friendly but still strict. The officials are particularly helpful and kind. There is also Miami market, the saviour of all otundos. You can buy just about anything in there.

Its a nice place built for the orientation of youth corp members posted to Katsina state. The facilities though quite aged are still in good shape while the management and security is fairly adequate. Going during Harmattan or rainy seasons? Prepare your self for some cold. Going in the dry season (January-June)? Prepare for some wind and mild heat (35-45°). Overall, u sure gonna enjoy the place.
