The Shoprite store itself is great 3star I find almost everything I need including pet food a plus for me. 50 % of the items are moderately priced, while others are twice the price you would find at Walmart, but I am okay with it since it is available. Good range of yougurt and cheese, but they could add more variety to veggies. I would like to see some changes in the fast food section, although it has regular everyday fast food,it would be nice to have a variety dinner platter to take out. I love the GAME store to, for the out door section. The furniture section is lot to be desired in terms of quality and price. Prices are decent compared to what you would buy when you use the x rate. Since there is no mall in Kano where you could go, I find visiting the place a pleasant experience. The movie section used to be great, but of late, there is too much apathy about improving the place and the no smile unfriendly food stalls,as you walk up the stairs, with is expensive no value for money , over spiced is okay for a one time experience. If you are really hungry, I would suggest the ShopRite fast food section. If you are going to be in Kano for a long time,worth visiting it from time to time and enjoy the walk too.
