Yankaba Market Kano as the name implies is located at yankaba of Nassarawa local government of Kano State. If what you are looking for is fresh fruits, vegetables and major commodities then this is the market for you. A visit to the market will convince you of this. The only down side is that the market is not well organized. There are dirts everywhere and the entrance to the main stalls is blocked by traders who have displayed their goods on the road side. The Kano state government can do something like building shops and expanding the road network coupled with good sanitation. But for any foreign visitor this is the place to go for all your needs from spices to fruits and vegetables.
