I have had my professional training as a reacher and general education in this great institution. I owe my professional career of over 42 years to the people, institutions and great teachers I have had in 1974 to 1985 and two years beyond. I am honoured to be an alumni of this great institution having earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in Economics methodology, my MSc/M.Phil in Economics and a bit of my PhD course work. My all great teachers at ABU have a great contribution to my professional and personal development. I do not have enough words to thank them for their scolarly contribution towards my subject and teaching skills. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is no doubt a home of knowledge and the people of Nigeria are privileged to have this noble institution at their doorstep for multifarious training and professional development. May this institution further prosper and be on the list of first 100 leading universities of the world. I salute Ahmadu Bello University, its management and its noble mission. I am so much indebted to ABU for the recognition accorded to my services elevating me from the position of Lecturer 2 to Senior Lecturer in a short span of 7 years.
