I stayed at the Full Moon Hotel last year for a friend’s wedding in Owerri. I usually locked all of my luggage every time I left my room. The morning of the wedding, I left the hotel in a rush to get to the wedding on time and mistakenly left one of my bags unlocked. When I returned to my room in the evening, I discovered that 10k was stolen from my suitcase. I reported it to two hotel managers and they said they would review the CCTV to see who entered my room. But nothing was done. I never got my money back and I don’t think they cared. Instead they were quick to charge me an additional 10k for a so-called late cancellation fee that I had never been told about. They were aggressive in collecting the fee but where was this aggressiveness in finding out who took my money? I will NOT stay here again. And I SERIOUSLY advise anyone who is staying there to lock your bags every time you leave your room.

All our rooms are equipped with safe deposit boxes which you ordinarily should use to store any valuables. Having said that we take your complaint seriously and urge you to revert to management with proof that you were a real guest at Fullmoon and that you indeed lost some money.
