Popularly known as IMSU it is one of the top State Universities in Nigeria. Located almost close to city centre, this location is believed to be its temporary site. Imo State University has various departments, library, love garden, restaurant, bookshops, ATM, bank, sports centre, primary school, churches and business centres within the complex. The restaurants and eatries are affordable especially down school. Photocopiesand printing are also cheaper down school. ♿Generally the school is not accessibility friendly. There are no dedicated parking nor ramps at lecture halls to enable students move freely.
