A really big african food market. You can find almost anything here. Good connecting roads, the market has a mix of the every tribe in Nigerian displaying their goods. Be watchful when parking here...the truck loaders are notorious for blocking the way until they are done loading or offloading. This can take a while

This is one of my favourite markets in Abuja. I always visit whenever I am in town though it is because it is close to my house. Things are cheaper than you get them elsewhere. The market is usually crowded, rowdy and unplanned and typically is a Monday market. You can get food stuff, hair accesories and clothes too. Parking is always a problem as it is just along the road .

This is one of the markets modelled after the Abuja Ultra Modern Markets but this one comes with a village market side attraction. It is managed by Bwari Area Council. Busiest days are Mondays and Saturdays. Traffic can be heavy on these days along Dutse Alhaji road. Alternative route is to take the FCDA Drive if you are heading towards Army Housing Estate and environs. This market opens everyday but Mondays and Saturdays are main market days. On these main days, it is difficult to find a parking space within the market as the parking lot is usually taken over by road side traders.
