Recreational activities for kids are at a low ebb quite unlike how it was years ago. Currently, the facility serves other good educational and social purposes other than being an amusement park. Nevertheless it is a quiet place to reminisce, though!

Medium scale park, can be quite boring except if you visit in a large group. Located in a lovely environment though. Free entry from Mondays to Thursday. Gate fee attached for weekends.

A host of restaurants, particularly famous at the location is Hadiza Bulungu, which serves traditional Maiduguri food in the traditional sense. There are other restaurants and a suya joint these. The park itself is a wonderful place and it is sometimes used for weddings and events.
