Food is excellent, I go for the roast lamb shoulder. My boys cry for their garlic Nan bread. Anyway, they should open up a branch in Lagos anytime. Enjoy........

I love the African tradition depicts in the restaurant. There are wooden tables and chairs, bamboo and mats. Chinese, Indian and other continental dishes are served. No air-conditioning, everything is at room temperature except heat extractors placed in strategic positions reduce temperature due to the ovens and grills.

Wakkis is just about the only place you can get an authentic Indian meal in Abuja. Its rustic feel adds to the overall feel of the place. Its a little pricey though but understandably so. If you are looking for a different taste experience to the usual fast food options or just to treat yourself, you might want to pop in.

Horrible service and attitude. OK food. The waiter informed us after seating us that the POS system was not working and they will accept only cash. We found an ATM and came back with cash. After really really slow service they bought edible food. Not good, just OK. After eating, I chased down the waiter and requested 2 separate bills for us (we were 2 guys and company pays for all this so we needed separate bills). The waiter got nasty and told us we did not tell him when placing the order so he will not change it now. I did not want to argue so I hunted down the manager, Julius and asked him to resolve. Right away this guy starts to blame us for not telling them initially. I told him why did not you ask. He says not their job. And how the owner is out of country and it is not permitted and blah blah blah and excuses without realizing that their internal mismanagement is not customers problem. Typical anti customer Nigerian attitude of the manager and staff. This place is run like a bureaucracy and not a private business and maddeningly slow. Spend your money somewhere else where they want your business.
