However, their online booking is not good at the moment. You book online and come to the terminal to print ticket, and you have to queue for the ticket

They have basic rules and standards like speed limits and limited numbers of passenger and luggage that prioritizes safety. They may need to do more in managing passenger booking and feedback back when vehicles are overbooked or not available for the routes booked for. Their major bus terminal are purpose built with good siting arrangement in the waiting area

I was impressed by their professionalism, and organisation well planned out, just like the airport, you check in, and your boarding is announced. This is what makes GIGM different from other transporters, their buses are fully air conditioned. The only snag is they delayed for 30mins, and the luggage management was not convenient as inside the bus was packed with luggage limiting leg space.

Anyone can book tickets through offline or online though according to experienced customer their online book takes 24 hours to get ticket while offline process you have to wait in an outside space for your turn in a long queue in some cases.

The bus ride from Lagos to Abuja is with ease as their buses are fully air-conditioned. The glasses are somewhat tinted thereby ensuring the security of passengers. But some of the drivers need training in customer relations. They need to be taught how to manage issues arising from traffic delays or logjams.

I love GIGM company but hated my experience at the Utako park. I booked online sometime in November 2018 to travel from Abuja to Lagos. I got to the park just at the nick of time but to my dismay I was told that the 1st bus had left and that I had to pay a penalty of N1,000 in order to travel on the 2nd bus. I paid but got a bus to a destination that was off my route. I found that unreasonable too, more so their services are becoming overpriced. The roads in Nigeria are not so good for most parts of the journey so, why charge anything in excess of N10,000 for a road trip?

The place is renovated clean and new. You can book you ticket online and obtain a boarding pass at terminal. The buses are Air Conditioned, carry the normal specified passengers per bus; so sitting is comfortable. The buses leave on schedule too. When travelling with GIG carry minimal luggage as their buses have little luggage compartment. Also note that all luggage are stowed under the chairs. You may choose to pay for a chair to put your precious things if this mood will suit you.

If you have something serious to do, please avoid GIGM. Their service is terrible. The staff sucks and the management incompetent. I wish the owner will sack the bunch of idiots and replace them with competent hands who are ready to work. I booked GIG for a family member on the 2nd of January for 9am. She waited at the park till 12 noon and was told the bus will no longer go till the next day. She came back the next day and the same bus was delayed till 1pm before moving. A bus that was booked for 9am. I also has a 2nd experience of a bus booked for 9am leaving 12.15pm. Today I booked a bus leaving Utako Abuja to Uselu-Benin. The bus was for 8.15am. I got to the park and my seat was given to someone else just because a bribe was given to the attendant. I tried to complain to the manager and he was not on seat by 8.30am. A manager of a transport company is not on seat by 8.3am on a Monday. IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS BUSINESS, GIG is a NO NO. As for me and everyone I know, this is the last time. I will continue to campaign against them.

Mix reaction. This rating is my experience on my trip to Anambra state. From Abuja to Asaba was OK. But from Asaba back to Abuja was one hell of a journey. The Mercedes Benz bus we booked for was not given to us.. Instead a Hiace was provided. The shock absorber were bad and the AC vents not working.. An 8hrs trip became a 12hours trip and this is without traffic

Booked online. They have a great online structure for easy booking and payment. There it ends. I sat outside and watched the sunrise amidst a crowd of travellers. I was on a route with few passengers and had to wait till all the tickets were sold. Then came the bone jarring ride through roads with loud music all the way. I thought I would lose my hearing. The driver managed to proposition every female gas station attendant along the way. Only one bathroom break for the entire seven hour journey and when a distressed passenger requested a break somewhere along the route, the driver proceeded to be very unpleasant about granting the request.
