Lovely environment. The hotel is situated in a secured environment in Jabi, Abuja. More should be done to improve the Gardens and color plants could make the gardens more beautiful than having just too many green plants. The rooms are standard and traditionally spacious. I will recommend that the hotel wifi become more accessible and efficient to guess as I struggle with it the last time I visited. The pool is clean and standard, accessible and free for guess. The security system can be improved more, the cameras and IT sessions should come alive as that is part of the security system.

Customer service is very poor. And be very careful when you pay with POS. I paid and was told there is a network problem. Yet my account was debited twice on 18/12/2018. Was asked to give all the detail to the auditor, which I did. Was promised the money will be paid back to me. Until today 29/12/2018 no money is paid back to me. Every time I am told the M.D. must approve before they can return my money. Very bad. Be careful. Until today 24/1/2019. Still no payment. This hotel is 419. Stay away 419 still waiting for my money to be paid back to me. Still waiting for my money to be paid back. 419 hotel. 24/3/2019.

Terrible service all around. There was no water in the bathrooms nor was the breakfast they claimed would be ready in 30 mins. The breakfast came after 2 hours the bathrooms are in terrible conditions and the attitude of the workers are nothing to write home about. Everyone was confused as tho they didn’t have an iota of what their jobs were. Eventually, lack of maintenance and proper service will run this hotel to the ground. Never again. Not going to recommend at all.

My stay at this hotel was a very disappointing experience. There are only two positive things (hence the two star rating) that I can say about Nera: The location is good (especially because of the nice restaurant at the Jabi Boat Club behind the hotel) and the staff / porters working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful (especially Timo). As for the rest of my stay... The rooms were dirty, everything in the bathroom was grimy and leaking (the toilet, the sink, and water was even coming out from underneath the bath), the food was just terrible (breakfast as well as room service from their restaurant - not edible) and for the price of the rooms you would expect at least a clean towel every day, some coffee or tea in the room or toiletries in the bathroom. But none of these basic things were available. I would not recommend this hotel when staying in Abuja.
