Old building with decaying structures, infested with vermin, improper electrical wiring, and the smell (let us not forget the smell), human waste around the hostel. The only positives about the hostel is probably the wi-fi.

Alvan ikoku hostel is one of the two hostels for boys in the university of Nigeria Nsukka. It has about 160 rooms, legally meant for 4 boys per room. It is fun to be in Alvan ikoku hostel.

Very dirty, with one of the worst toilets ever. I think the hostel needs renovation or the university should build another one. It has an excellent Wi-Fi connection and the rooms are clean... Most of the times. Some rooms from 300series upwards are good.
