Very dirty, with one of the worst toilets ever. I think the hostel needs renovation or the university should build another one. It has an excellent Wi-Fi connection and the rooms are clean... Most of the times. Some rooms from 300series upwards are good.

Alvan ikoku hall is a mess because I think since it was built they have not carried any form of renovation in it. The facilities like the rooms, toilets and bathrooms are not up to standard.

Though the toilets and bathrooms have been renovated, along with the new WiFi transmitters added, and the use of iron doors, which provide more security for occupants of a room, the one problem most of the rooms have is the invasion of bedbugs.
