Lady Ibiam Hostel is not just the biggest female hostel in University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, but it is the most popular hostel in UNEC. It is a place where everything happens, it is a centre of attraction for students on campus, students staying in Ibiam hostel get information faster than other hostels. Also, it is a good place for students who want to do business while in school, because the number of students in the hostel is much. Ibiam hostel would have been the best hostel in Unec if not for the poor condition of the building due to old structure, over population of students in the hostel and lack of generator connection. Aside these, Ibiam hostel is actually better than other female hostels in University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.
