  • D

With its revamping by the state government, it stands tall in the race of the provision of food items and more. It ameliorates the stress posed by the purchases of groceries of students that attend the University of Benin...

Three years ago this market was very disorganized. Street trading characterized it and made it congested especially for car users. Now all that is a thing of the past. The Edaiken market popularly referred to as Uselu market is now very organized. Street trading has been abolished. A good market to shop for all your household needs and much more. Parking space is also available at a ticket price of 100 naira.

The popular Uselu market, just along the Benin Lagos expressway. As a student of the University of Benin back in the days, this is where I would do my groceryshopping. We will stock up our supplies from this market and it will last us weeks to months. Cheap and very affordable prices. Being fluent in pidgin English will give you added bargaining advantage. Most of the sheds and stalls are open.
