This is a strategic point in the Ikpoba Hill area of Edo state, Ikpoba-okha local government area. It is a focal point connecting the Benin metropolis to other towns in Edo state e.g. Irrua, Ekpoma etc and also to connect the Northern Nigeria to the South-South. There is a big roundabout with a wellfenced compound with overgrown grasses and little or no shrubbery. There is a local market here. The market is very active every 4 days. For example, the main activities were on Tuesday 13th ,November, 2018. The next will hold on Saturday the 17th. On this days, traffic is always very tight around Ramart park. This usually last up to 3 hours during the morning rush and 3 to 4 hours in the evening. If you can, kindly avoid this route on this days.

I perceive the authority in charge of this facility do not know what to do with it. The place is anything else but a park. The perimeter fence is constantly been ramped into by vehicles, this is an indicator of lack of safety within and without the park. The swimming pool within the park is more a pond for reptiles, frogs and the likes. The environmental situation of the park is generally appalling. There are very few tree shades that may serve as picnic grounds. No play facilities for children. The local government authority use the park as a temporary holding place for traffic offenders, thus creating a lot noise and debates.
