Market Square is the largest mall in Benin City. It provides fresh produce, meat and groceries in a wide variety. Layout is great. Shopping is an easy experience. There are also lots of outdoor shops and food centres to make your shopping experience memorable. Located on the busy Sapele Road with commendable parking space; Market Square is unarguably the best place to do your shopping currently in Benin. Should I add that the operating hours is another big plus for those who work late. I find going to the mall after 8pm very convenient.

This guys just came and stole the heart of every Benin city residents and passerby with their beautiful environment, excellent customers services and wide variation of all kinds of commodities both perishable and non perishable food items, all you can think of in one place. The best part is that their prices are very competitive. Now the eatery and bakery section is divine. A loaf of bread is N400 and pack of fried rice and piece of chicken is N700. Any and everybody can afford.

Lovely ambience, good central air conditioning, surplus workforce, large parking space and price tags on everything. There is a good supply (JIT) of fruits and vegetables with reasonable price. The attendants at the till are courteous and fast in attending to the customers. In all, lovely customer service and quick processing time.

Quite impressive, with a lot of home products, but the building is quite small. The idea of an open and a somewhat closed parking space is good. I mean, more than one parking spaces. Prices of some items are slightly above prices of same items in regularly supermarkets. For instance, I bought a pack (of 24) of Hi-Malt more expensive in Market Square than I did in a roadside shop, and a few other items. Well, eating Kilimanjaro shawarma after shopping is always a good consolation.

Some things they put up are not tagged and its embarrassing to return something at the checkout point because of high price. Some are even wrongly tagged. But some those cashiers at checkout points have really bad attitudes.
