The entrance to the cathedral is clustered with those seeking alms, mobile traders and buses hustling for passengers. Once inside the premises however, it is almost as if one is not in Nigeria. It is truly a serene environment. The guest house within the premises known as Domus Sancti Spiritus is really a homely environment. The staff are friendly, courteous and always helpful. I will always recommend this place to any one.

Holy Ghost cathedral is fastest church you can attend especially 10:00AM mass most times celebrated by Bishop C.V.C Onaga or oscillary Bishop Ernest. But if they are not available it will be celebrated by priest.

Is the Cathedral Church of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu carved out of from Ecclesiastical Province of Onitsha on 12th November, 1962. Rt. Revd Dr. John Cross Ayogu who was the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese was the first Bishop of Enugu Diocese. The Diocese is currently under the Lordship of Most Revd Dr. Callistus Valentine Onaga who has been shepherding the diocese after the retirement of his Predecessor. The Diocese has an Auxiliary Bishop who is being prepared for a new Diocese to be approved by the Holy See. The Postal Address of the Diocese is: Diocesan Secretariat P. O. This catholic church has been there for so many years.. Since the 80s or even 70s or so. And the structure of th e main Building has been the same. It has a very large land space. I hate the fact that there is usually traffic infront of the church. Thia is because its right next to the market and there are car parks there as well.
