It is a very big and busy market, where you can get virtually everything you need, from food stuff to clothes, to toiletries, to cosmetics, etc. It is an everyday market but it has a special market day, especially on market day once weekly. On market days, wares are cheaper but the traffic of both human and vehicles is usually very hectic.

The market is nice. You can get a wide range of what items here. Since the environment is usually busy, some car owners prefer shopping on Sundays when most buyers may have gone to church. So invariably, the market sells everyday although some items may be cheaper on certain days such as on their Market-days where there are influx of traders/supply, thereby making demand price to reduce for quicker patronages etc. It also has easily accessible routes, where there is traffic control light too.

It holds every nine days. There are different sections in the market: Raw food, clothing, local raw materials,transportation,cash crops such as kolanuts, cocoa seed, cashew nuts peanuts, etc. There is also a section for all kinds of fruits such as oranges,apple,guava,cashew,water melons, etc.

The market environment is untidy, whenever it rains the floor of the market become slippery and difficult to walk on and this is because of dirt residues that has been deposited on the market floors overtime. 2. It is not children friendly. This is because of the harsh and unpleasant smell coming from the environs and also cars and individuals collide due to the limited space of the market. 3. Safety is not guaranteed during late hours. This is because of the high rate of hoodlums staying in that environs, coupled with no good security and also the dark environs due to lack of functioning streetlight, as one can easily be robbed or harass. 4. You can not get everything in this market. Example electronics. Also there are not enough varieties to choose from when buying some items.
