Loved this place. Its one of the best touristy places in Nigeria. If you are a landscape photographer or you love great scenery, this is the place to go. Accommodation is superb though expensive. Service is good.

I have been to many tourist site in Nigeria but Obudu Cattle Ranch stands out. From the foot of the hill to the top was was nice view of mountain on mountain, hills on hills. you can get to the top of the hill either by cable car or by road with car of bike but its very dangerous to go on bike because of the numerous sharp bends. The landscaping is awesome, the weather is cool and calm. But this place is not recommended for people who have phobia for height. Obudu mountain resort on the hill has good varieties rooms for tourist who wants to stay on the hills for day. there are beautiful chalets, presidential lodge, canopy walkway, water fall and so on there. Government needs to invest more there so as to attract more foreign tourist because majority of the stuffs on the hill are getting dilapidated. just as the cable car was not functioning when i visited. Though, climbing the hill and coming down was scary but i will like to visit again and again.

Obudu Cattle Ranch in the days of Donald Duke was a place to be when it was under the management of Protea Hotel. However, my last visit last December made it glaring that things has fallen apart. The sign post are being defaced by the mountain community claiming that this location is not obudu. The yoghurt shop that offers fresh yoghurt is no more The spaghetti road is now riddled with potholes.

This place is simply AMAZING!!! It is located in the hills in Obudu, Cross River State, Nigeria. It is a tourist destination I will recommend for everyone. The place is perpetually cool, or cold. But not to worry, you can always cope. There are shops there where you can buy any clothing you desire or require. It has a canopy walk, several hills, waterfalls amongst others. There are also untamed but unharmful animals on the ranch for sight seeing. There are a number of lounges in the ranch for all classes of persons. The hotel, Mountain Resort, is also there to serve the accommodation needs of guests and provide an exquisite experience. You need a winter jacket to stay here as the weather is extremely cold, and dewy like rain drops. There is a cable car in the ranch (but may sometimes not be working) to take you from the foot of the hill into the ranch. You can have a bird eye view of the ranch while on the cable car. The people are very friendly and entertaining. You can have a guided tour of the ranch with one of the tourist (Don Clifford is such a good tour guard). You will definitely enjoy your time out here.

Obudu cattle ranch has to be one of the best places to visit in nigeria, I been there twice end of the year 2017 and mid year 2018, I love every single feature about that place, from the weather to the mind numbing sight of beautiful landscapes, every one I met there are friendly people, they recieved us with so much love, however, when I visited again August last year, it was a little less crowded than it was in December, and there wasnt lots of activities, but make no mistake, I had fun all through the stay. I would rate 6 stars if I could and I would confidently recommend a visit to this wonderful place

Obudu Mountain Resort is a beautiful resort like no other in Nigeria. The temperature here varies and we experienced a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius at some point. However, we could not make use of some of the facilities as the members of staff were on strike due to unpaid salaries.

There are a lot of places to explore like the Holy mountain, Grotho waterfall, African huts, canopy walkway, etc. It is located in Obanliku local government of cross-river state contrary to the name. Remember to prepare for the cold when visiting, the weather is extremely cold and changes within minutes.

Located close to the Cameroon border in the Northeastern part of Cross River State, Obudu Cattle Ranch features a cable car, which gives guests a scenic view of the surrounding, mountains and offers free WiFi to all guests. The spacious rooms are designed with an adjoining sitting area, which is fitted with plush sofas. Obudu Cattle Ranch room rate is affordable. Each room is fully air conditioned with an ornate lampshade, wall arts, a TV with satellite reception and a worktable/chair. The ranch itself features an onsite restaurant and bar that serve a variety of meals and drinks. Outdoor dining is available at the terrace. Guests enjoy swimming session at the outdoor pool, which is flanked by sunbeds and parasols. The resort houses a lawn tennis court, a football pitch, a basket ball court, a world class adventure water park, a well equipped fitness centre, a hot tub/jacuzzi and a well equipped fitness centre. During leisure hours, guests enjoy horse riding, helicopter field view and Village tour. Laundry, babysitting, car hire, city shuttle and airport pickup services are provided, though for an extra charge. Onsite and nearby parking are available and the premises are guarded by security personnel.
