They have a really nice pool but the hotel decor is so dated. It feels like being transported to the 1990’s with blue walls and Art Deco paintings and sculptures. Needs a complete restoration top to toe. Staff are nice and friendly. Every other thing is fine

A really good place to relax and unwind, rooms are comfortable and the staff are helpful. Had a great tasting pizza and a lovely cup of cappuccino for breakfast. The pool is clean and not crowded at all so I enjoyed my morning exercise at the gym and pool before breakfast.

The hotel is averagely priced. It is situated off the high way. The staff are courteous and helpful. Some facilities look old or not well maintained. The poolside is a beehive of activity. No wheelchair accessible entrance, no safe in the executive suite, bookings can be made ahead of time. All meals served are a la carte. Those are pictures of the executive suite.

I like axari hotel,its beautiful and gave a serene environment. A large parking lot,entrance enables wheelchair. There is a pool and a pool bar and also a gym . There is a check in area with cordial staffs ready to offer assistance. There is an indoor resturant. Also there is a saloon and also an ATM. The rooms are neat and also they have hot tubs. They offer breakfast services, room service, laundry and also wifi.

My room was poorly lit. Not designed for work at all. And the waitress at the bar was outright rude, had to go back to my room to place order for lunch and reported her too. The pool is quite nice though and kid friendly. Their Indomie was a disaster - who puts fresh tomatoes in Indomie? Their native meals were okay.

When in Calabar, I make it a duty to stay in Axari. However they have to do something about their WI-FI service

1) The room service is late and they bring dirty towels with holes, so make sure you have your own towels 2) The hotel had 1ply toilet paper and they only give you one roll for the duration of their stay 3) The restuarant takes 2 hrs to cook your food and the portions are always different, if you eat in a group some people will be finished while others havent even recieved their food 4) The staff are poorly trained and do not have a service culture--- they literally dont care about you. 5) They do not replemish complementary water, tea and coffee If you have an option pls stay away from this hotel. Rather view it before you pay!!!

A dirty hotel with a terrible service!! We will never go there again. Service and cleanliness is unacceptabel. Management is useless to coach their workers. No interest in anything. Even if you are complain, persons in authotity are not interested to remedy shortcomings. There are better hotels available in Calabar. It was a bad experience!! Conclusion: NOT RECOMMENDED Never again............
