I stayed in this hotel about three years ago. It is located in a quiet and serene area in Calabar. It is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. It is a large car park area. The hotel is neat and has spacious rooms

Has multiple halls for hosting seminars workshops and conferences.Many rooms to accommodate many guests. Provides catering and laundry services. Stayed there about 7 years ago and it was cool. Great club in the basement and a well-maintained pool. Now it is a shadow of its old self. Needs a lot of upgrading. A paint job would not hurt its outward appearance at least.

Monty suite is an amazing hotel with great facilities, they have swimming pools, lovely rooms ranging from basic, president and business class rooms, their security services is awesome and the staffs are will to serve you better with their warm hospitality, their beds are soft and cozy. The outside is filled with lovely landscaping of long trees and tarred floors and a wide car park for your vehicles. Not to forget they have 24 hours power supply. If you have a vacation or you just want to visit calabar, choose Monty suite.

My colleague stayed in this hotel for a night and was truly dissapoined at the spate of service, maintenance of hardware and response time of orders placed. I appeal to the management to take a closer look at managing this 120 room capacity gaint of an hotel.

Good hotel in town and good rate too. The rooms are okay, the gym is not up to standard for this type of the hotel. Swimming pool looks okay and could be better. The restaurant does not have a big choices on the menu. Poor internet connection unless around the reception section. Almost of all you have good and friendly people who will welcome you and that may cover the rest

In a city like Calabar, Monty Suites offers good hospitality services to both loyal and new customers. You will feel welcomed from the joyous smiles beeming loudly from the receptionist down to their staff who picks up the phone to receive your order/complaint et. I enjoyed every bit of my short stay there when I want for the 2017 Calabar Carnival. A must visit back when I find myself in Calabar again. And oh yes they have an in-house store where they sell a lot of things, but my interest at the store was their book collection.
