Unarguably the biggest, and most organised market in Benue state. It has virtually all sections you can find in a typical open market in Nigeria,; wet section, whole sale, retail, building materials, even tailors and seamstresses. It also has a police station and a non functional fire department. There are public restrooms, but you have to pay to use them, and its a pit latrine arrangement, but its modernised with enamel ware. Due to lack of proper maintenance, the market is always dirty and the main driveway id always flooded during the rains
